Given the whole outcry against police brutality...

Given the whole outcry against police brutality, how is it that Batman as a character still hasn't been targeted considering unaccountably beating people to a bloody pulp is his whole schtick?

He has been, just nobody cares what those people think because it's obviously a big fantasy

We will in fact head to the point where anyone proclaiming any kind of moral authority will be seen an inherently evil. In a world where everyone worships themselves there can be no objective right or wrong and therefore everything will be permitted and the only true evil is those who stand up to it.

Well, literally every super-hero does that, so why would Batman be singled out?

Comic Books aren't relevant enough to go after. Once we get close to the Matt Reeves movie you can probably expect some articles and twitter activists trying to start some shit though.

cuz Batman is a badass

Who y'all talkin' about? Batman? Man, somebody gotta do something about him. You know he broke my cousin's jaw in three places just for double parking? Then he zip-lined his ass two stories and hung him from a flagpole by his underwear.

Because his most prominent villains are white people. No one is going to raise a fuss about white people being brutalized.

>double parking
Absolutely deserved it, piece of shit

Based Reeves was smart enough to make Gordon black and the only clean copy on the force.

Sure, it goes against ACAB, but I think it will be enough to give it good optics.

Plus, both Catwoman and movie OC love interest #3 are black, so

Because more people think of him punching supervillians in crazy outfits than they do of him punching garden variety criminals.

It's kind of been attempted. I consistently see the dumb take that Batman is just a rich dude who beats up poor people for fun. Common sense has prevailed so far though.

There never was an objective right or wrong, just what the people with the biggest dicks could convince or bully other people into accepting.

He doesn't answer to a system, which is the real crux of the problem with the police, despite what some loud voices say. He's a vigilante, which is technically celebrated by the same or at least some of the same members of this movement right now.

>There never was an objective right or wrong
If only you knew.

You see, Batman doesn't punch somebody who doesn't deserve it, simply thanks to the writing.
The writers put very clear that he is going after bad guys, they show the readers that they are the bad guys and then Batman goes and punch them.

Virtually every superhero does that, and Batman kicks the shit out of police too.

Wow Anarky would have ninja henchman in the early version of Origins?

This

>any kind of moral authority will be seen an inherently evil.
Yes, you claiming authority over me infringes my rights you fucking commie, I'm an individual and it's my God given conservative right to act as I please

Then your moral authority is God and that's not the same thing. If people just decide themselves what is right all the time they have no chance of being consistent or fair, they'll just do what they want all the time and think anyone opposing them is evil.

I don't expect this nuance is appreciated by the likes of people who went after fucking Paw Patrol

What a great sketch

Nobody went after Paw Patrol. That shit is still on the air. Christ, you people are stupid.

They got rid of the cop dog dubmass.

I didn't say got it pulled off the air.

Did you miss the entirety of Batman v Superman discussion?

Link me to the Nickelodeon twitter or some official source that corroborates that.

Why would they whine about him when part of his shtick is fighting crime in a city where the police are frequently corrupt and incompetent?

Hi. He is a fictional character.
Pretty sure that was a shitpost and retards took it seriously.

Only the smartest people create smug self-righteous webcomics that hammer their opinion home

Pretty sure it was retards on twitter who are the tiny vocal retard minority, but nonetheless it happened.
