Was it kino?
Was it kino?
I didn’t post this as a joke I want y’all’s actual opinions on it, I watched it on a whim and really enjoyed it. I think it’s underrated as hell.
Yes
Well it's pretty beloved here just not much to discuss.
Yeah, and it would have gotten traction if it wasn't set up at a time on the same channel when everyone was wanting to rape neon donkeys
It was OK. It didn't really get any stronger after the first season. Elise was a little annoying; they never found a way to make her consistently fumy.
I’ve never really been on Zig Forums before so I didn’t know what y’all thought of it.
Also what do you mean rape neon donkeys
It aired on the Hub same time as MLP
I think being a kid's show held back the concept
Well welcome I suppose let's discuss this great cartoon, any favorite episode? A subject you wish Dan had VS.?
When I started watching it my dad was over and was surprised how adult it was (specifically after the scene in vs New Mexico where dan says “I WILL MANGLE YOU” and attacks chris and makes their car crash). Still funny as all hell though.
They focused too much on Elise after season 1. Good design but she's got the personality of cardboard.
Would have been better if Elise had even bigger tits? The answer is yes.
I’m actually finishing up season 3 right now but I loved dan vs. technology because of the ballsy unabomber references
Oh and also dan vs the catburglar, i’m a sucker for detective noire
Not OP but I would have liked the series to end with "Dan Vs. The World" where Dan destroys the Earth at the end.
Yeah I loved that one, the show could sure do all kinds of different genres. having a utterly deranged MC is so useful narratively I wish there was more like it.
Dan vs the ATF
I am OP and I second this. I’m a transient from /k/. Would be hilarious if they included Feinstein as a villain.
This would have been the most based thing ever, what scenario could get him on their shitlist and vise versa? He doesn't smoke or own land they could come at him for some gun violation after a fake out where it seems he was going to go after a different target that episode?
Dan makes a ton of suspicious purchases that the ATF interprets as parts for illegal weapon modifications. They do a Waco 2 on his place but he comes out of it with minor injuries and extremely pissed. Turns out he's just making a robot that can fetch him snacks without getting out of his couch and bed.
He’d probably raid a place with an SBR, nods, and coat hanger auto sear despite being a felon
This would be very like the show, and the ATF!
new seasons and episodes please
Oh wait, it wasn't even a proper robot, he just tapes some shit to his roomba. The episode ends with the roomba scooting by past their feet, unharmed by the disastrous raid.
The Fandom can do much more if it simply starts putting out more fanfiction, crate the discussion.
That and the creator is doing interviews
I wish he finally found love :/
Elise vs. Dignity
Only if a producer and network wants to step in. Luckily The Hub or whatever doesn't actually own the show so a revival including legacy reruns would be very easy.
It would never work out sadly, but at least Dan vs divorce lawyers would be one of his few justified episodes, I don't know what they could take from him except his cat.
It was funniest off the beginning when Dan was raging against absurd targets like New Mexico or technology, but as his scope diminished, so did the humor.
And Elise dragged it down very badly as the show went on.
Maybe they can extend the divorce lawyers episode into the atf episode by having his only valuable assets his illegally modified guns
Maybe they were aiming for variety but there's an inconsistency in whether Dan's grudge is unhinged nonsense or overzealous prosecution of a legitimate grievance
