Power rangers is also based.

The movies had flaws certainly but the villains were great and Toby has the awkwardness I want out of peter

Is that supposed to be a criticism?

...

The first one is good thanks to Raimi's style and Willem Dafoe, Peter Parker is such a lame ass character and only serves the purpose of being the protagonist. His only good moments are the beginning and the end, the rest is Green Goblin: The Movie
It follows the classic structure of "Hero's life juxtaposed with Villain's life" but the villain is so much more interesting at everything, all Peter Parker does is look like a bored Tobey Maguire and Spider-Man is fucking boring, cool visuals and cool web swinging can make up for it I guess

the mask we could have had was so much cooler,

i bet Disney woulda gone for it

As much as this costume would’ve been perfect I sadly do understand streamlining it for simplicity of shooting

thats just it ,
it was good looking enough to be like this mutated state brought on by the serum, but that probably woulda upped the rating

The green goblin literally looks like a monster of the episode character from power rangers. its horrible.

It's fitting for superhero stuff honestly. Works well.

That becoming a notion around is so fucking annoying. They were goodish, not some auteur masterpiece like people go on about here. It could be so hokey.

I went back to rewatch them last year. They're not better than the good MCU films. Good. They stand the test of time better than the other superhero movies back then.

Weird Al said it first.

It is pretty terrifying, I do miss murder hobo norman

It doesn't

But feel free to try and find one

He looks more like a power ranger than their of their villains. Look we admit it’s not perfect but it serves the purpose of being the villains costume in the movie it would suck if DeFoe himself wasn’t perfect in the role

Look at all these "human wearing body armor" type monsters that look just like the Green Goblin

Furthest from the left one down looks like mecha Godzilla with a horn and mullet, other than that there are some great designs here

as action flicks starring Spider-Man, the Raimi movies are fine, but the MCU has always been about character development and that's what makes them better. in SM1 the characters feel like they're just moving from scene to scene without any semblance of a plot tying everything together and the only reason Spider-Man feels like he has to be there is because someone has to fight the Goblin. meanwhile Peter goes from wanting to leave the ghetto to learning he can make the difference in any place he's present, which is a great argument in favor of Peter's sense of responsability.

Not even that, at best you could say he has Kamen Rider type eyes and literally nothing else

This is the same shit as people saying Black Manta in the Aquaman movie looked like a Power Ranger monster. People who have never actually looked at Power Rangers just saying shit cause it's a name associated with cheapness.

People bitched about black manta? The costume was perfect in both an adaptation sense and in the logic presented in the movie. My only problem with him is they gave him a motivation to hate aquaman beyond “fuck you for whatever”

Yeah but it was just
>Same thread as OP but with Black Manta
>It doesn't look anything like a Power Ranger monster
>No it does
And then it repeated over and over until the next day when the same thread was made again

That one is the unicorn monster.

All of the original Power Rangers monsters were based on myths and legends and stories and also OP is a fag

Counterpoint: Willem DeFoe. Gobby is still crazy as hell.

>What?! NOOOOO! You can't just make the bad guy in this children's comic book superhero movie look like one of those bad guys from children's superhero TV shows!

How is this a bad thing?

It could be worse.

>MCU has always been about character development and that's what makes them better.
Regale me on how much they change between movies? Didn't Iron Man regress back to old self after Iron Man 3 with no explanation? Didn't Spidey grow past trying to live up to Tony in Homecoming only to do the same in Far From Home? Whatever, I hate the MCU for more reasons other than that shit.

I like the Green Goblin costume, but there have been monsters that do look more human. Brickneck is from Time Force

>i bet Disney woulda gone for it
MCU costumes designs are boring as fuck

>They're not better than the good MCU films.
Wrong. They're better than any of the MCU crap.

You're giving OP too much credit when he's clearly a retard, not someone who only saw one episode of Time Force and it stuck with him forever but not well enough to know it's name, so they instead reference the original slogan of "go go power rangers"

But congrats on finding one that's like, 20% similar

>Didn't Iron Man regress back to old self after Iron Man 3 with no explanation?
Tony doesn't need the armor to be useful. that's why he had the operation to remove the shrapnel from his chest, he never quit being Iron Man.
>Didn't Spidey grow past trying to live up to Tony in Homecoming only to do the same in Far From Home?
in Homecoming Peter wants to be Iron Man and in FFH the whole world want him to be Iron Man. in both movies he rejects to be true to himself as the neighborhood superhero. the individual movies reinforce their motivations from different viewpoints so they can be completely realized characters for the avengers team-ups.

how?

In every single way, you MCU cuck.
