With today being the 12th year anniversary of The Dark Knight, can we finally admit the Batsuit from that movie is dogshit?

Its bad because there are no colour contrasts on it.
Its just straight black all the way down apart from the belt.

seeing it well lit shows how dumb it looks
when the movie itself is dark as hell you can't really tell

the entire trilogy is overrated and it heralded worse things to come.

the only good thig I'll say about Leto Joker is that they returned the character to his roots as a zany gimmicky mobster and he should've been the villain in skwad.

I just can't stand the tiny-ass Bat emblem. Way too small.
>returned the character to his roots as a zany gimmicky mobster
Not a fan of Phoenix's Joker then?

Phoenix Joker was a loser.

I still don't get what was so great about Ledger's Joker other than the acting that people claim he's one of the best villains in cinema history ever.
He seemed just your average genius sociopath with loads of plot armor.

SUre.
All the matt plastic looks like car interior and it's too fucking segmented.

>the entire trilogy is overrated
First movie was great until he let Liam Nieson die and no amount of cringy teens can detract from how strong Heath Ledger was in the second. Third one is pretty bad though, outside of memes.

Individual scenes matter more than plot, especially when it comes to villains. TDK Joker has a lot of memorable scenes.

Batman Begins >= The Dark Knight > The Dark Knight Rises.

They’re good movies.

Funny you say that, I don't remember a single one other than the interrogation scene.

Hospital room
Gang meeting
Money pile

The dark knight trilogy is the only reason why batman is still alive.

All boring shit.

I really liked how it was made from a bunch of repurposed SpecOps gear/ But visually, the Sonar Suit from Batman Forever is my favorite.

The lack of color contrast drags it down, but I still like it a whole lot more than Bale's swole monster suit.

>He seemed just your average genius sociopath with loads of plot armor.
Ledger's Joker is what started the genius sociopath craze. (Yes, I know there were genius sociopaths before him, but none of them were part of the trend as they were post Ledger.)

I rewatched Begins today, found it weird feeling that it was really getting to be a classic batman film, 2 interpretations removed
When I first got into capeshit online, Bale was still THE batman, the status quo. It seems so far away now. I'm a zoomer, so I'm guessing this feeling isn't gonna stop as time goes on, but still. Feels weird

>2008 still feels recent
>Was actually over a decade ago

I like TDK, but i think BB is waaaay better, and i don't get how TDK is supposed to be better
TDKR was lazily named and mediocre in general

>Marvel villain is an absolute loser
>OMG best villain since Ledger's Joker such a great villain
>DC villain is an absolute loser
>hurr he sucks
Uh-huh. Riiight.

>all those butthurt marcucks

No, Hannibal Lecter did. Lots of mastermind villains in crime shows and movies were clearly inspired by him.

There's never been a good live action Batsuit.

I actually liked BvS kinda.

The best looking movie Batsuit is the Burton one, just fix the neck and it's perfect.

We admitted it 12 year ago.

nolan was embarrassed making cape movies. that's why the batsuit and other more "comicy" things were underplayed

>blockbuster movie costume for one of the most iconic if not the most iconic superheroes
>can't even turn his head around
Who the fuck oks this?

That porn one was nice, looked like the Asylum suit

The upper body is fine. It's the legs that are weird.

I don't like the tiny Bat logo
