The thing is though the show actually tries to promote diversity and integration, it’s just that’s it’s so absolutely shit at doing it that it gives the opposite message. Man I feel after Ginax fell, only the idea guys and none of the writers went to trigger, because fuck me all they’re shows are style over substance and sometimes that method just doesn’t work because the characters are usually the cookie cutter badass female or bland guy trigger usual has as their lead. Like the show was even more shit because the tonuki was so retarded in ever action she made and the whole “I wanna be human again” plotline should’ve been dropped because she can literally turn back and forth between forms. And more so why the hell is there such conflict between beastmen and humans if beastmen could literally morph at Will with no side effects, to look like humans whoever they want? Like a better story would’ve been a intregrated society were beastman have to pretend to be human otherwise they won’t be accepted, though they’d still be treated as 2nd class citizen with those that act the most human moving up the ladder. But at the same time you’ll have low income area where beastman only stay in their truth forms for the most part, and it’s a story conflict of being true to yourself v hiding your identity to fit in. Think of that ishvalan guy in fort brigs mindset and and scars and make a show out of it.

She’s shown to morph wings, arms, legs, etc at will and gain complete control very quickly of each new morph. She could do that same with human morph

You missed the clearly stated finer psychological differences between beastman and human.
It was also shown that even experienced beastmen when it comes to morphing into human form will revert to beasts as soon as they act in a genuine and spontaneous manner. There are also the intelligence, might makes right, instincts, migration, impulsiveness and power level difference issues.
Nah I saw that, but it wasn’t finely stated, basically amounted to them being stated to be dumb brutes. They’re obviously trying to go the “they’re more animal than human thing” but that falls apart when they don’t stick to each animals actually characteristics. Like you can say beastwoman are all treated badly because a lot of animals have a matriarchal dynamic, and when it’s not there’s no lions beating up lioness on the reg, shit lioness will straight up kill the dominant male of the pride if they think they’re week. And the whole selling children thing is then alluding to the “eating you’re own to survive” but shit every living thing does that, and it’s never explained what led to they’re being such a economic upturn in society there, like why are there slums in the first place? Why aren’t they special animal group districts, etc. basically they had a neat idea and didn’t know how to properly flush it out so they went the standard trigger route and did big end battle lightshow lasers. Like if they show didn’t try to do a race thing or rather didn’t try and do a deeper race thing (there’s a difference between hey let’s all be friends and showing them actually hunting them down and nonchalantly drowning them) then it would’ve been so much better as a dumb fun show
