He doesn't even do the head tilt in the movie. His eyes are obscured by his sunglasses.

Disney has a weird habit of picking random characters in their films to push. Sometimes it's minor, almost background characters like this dude and the creepy girl in Meet The Robinsons or pets like Pascal or Pua.

Other times they'll take the "comic relief" character like Ben in Treasure Planet or the hamster in Bolt and make them look like much bigger parts of the plot that they are. Same for Fish Out of Water too.

The worst was the hatchet job they did to Ray by making it look like he was just fart jokes and even having part of his death scene in the trailers for a joke bit.

I thought the first user was a retard for not putting Sharp together with porcupine until the second user made me notice the whole poster was an MIB reference

They made Ben more apparent in the commercials because they wanted to scare kids off, Disney was forced to make Treasure Planet when they only wanted to make 3D animated movies at that point.

I could totally see a black couple naming their kid Morkubine.

I've never understood why he's even on the posters and marketing, but part of me thinks that he was originally going to be used more in the plot eariler on the movie's development. And all of this material is probably a remnant of this scrapped material intended for him.

I sometimes wonder if this movie was supposed to be a spy movie at some point in it's development, with the MIB parody posters.
