Who the fuck villainizes UN peacekeepers?

The UN's forces have been involved in a lot of awful shit. They've abetted mass rape and murder, been involved in both the illegal wholesale looting of places and the legal looting of them via "disaster capitalism."

It's just that that happens in third world shitholes or terrible global flashpoints. Even if shit hits the fan in the US, the Blue Helmets would never get invovled there, and any US person worried about the UN is not a serious person.

The UN has been a bogeyman for the nutbar right for generations now.

Compare the rates of UN troops doing that shit to US Marines and private contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan. Night and day. If you're a civilian the blue helmets are 80% less likely to kill or rape you than your actual government's military.

Look at the very first UN peacekeeping operation. When Israel took Desperate Measures to stop an illegal blockade of its entire nation buy multiple Nations by taking over a small part of Egypt that was a huge part of doing it the peacekeeping why I invented to stop Israel from taking any land from enemies who were clearly trying to take all of its land and really wanted to commit Mass genocide in its Nathan.They only kept the border two sides from fighting each other until Muslim nations imply they use forced against the UN peacekeepersey.And then being illegal blockade happen again and that you and acted like there was nothing illegal going on against Israel.

Not really. The problem with the US was seemingly good intentions in many cases ruined by selfish global-corporatist interests. Our army and intelligence agencies ran point for a lot of international schemes but it was hardly only America interests that participated or benefited.

while it is true that international arms dealers were making bank off of these things, they were also propped up by both the UK and the US. They are notorious for saying that countries have to buy their arms for getting proper aid.
