Was it Kino?

Was it Kino?

Or is Sam Kieth just crazy?

I bought the entire collection just because I suck Sam's dick, no idea if it's good, but I enjoyed iy

Kino
/thread

Let's be honest, it's a little bit of both. But hey, at least we're getting more Maxx now, sort of.

Yep, absolue KINO, based, and mhowpilled
"Of course I've got a problem with women. Everyone has a problem with women. Because women taunt and tease. Because they are attractive, and they punish you for being attracted,"

>at least we're getting more Maxx now

WHAT?!?!? WHERE?!?!?! WHEN?!?!??!?

I liked it a lot. Fuck the word "kino"

Basically, it's Maxx somehow ends up in Gotham, but he drifts in and out of the outback, and for some reason Batman is able to too (it even implies that Bruce has his own "outback"), as well as Bat-Villains. Also Mr. Gone is there.

It's a little weird, but we get more Maxx and Julie. I'm liking it.

Yeah, it's something. After Sam refused to touch The Maxx, or comics in general, for years.

It also started like two years ago and went on hiatus, and is finally continuing

it was best when WML was around

>You killed my hostage!

oh its definitely kino, for its time. its definetly a product of the 90's

also redpill me on why the maxx didin't take off as much especially when it first aired, was it just too underground?

I actually have his first appearance...can't make heads to tells of it

Based

>underground
>MTV
Not really user, I remember the 90´s were PC and profeminism...

Read it all like 10 years ago. Absolutely loved it. Maybe I'll read it again

>it even implies that Bruce has his own "outback"

I think everyone has their own "outback".

I wish they adapt the rest of the comic in the MTV show style

I enjoyed it
the part past the timeskip was weaker, especially the really, really rushed ending
show was pretty good too, maybe better in its own nice little package of the story

I read the first trade, it was not for me.

I saw the show, have it on DVD and love it.

Based and redpilled

Kino to the MAXX

It's not very good. The art is cool though.

Yes

Probably got axed for the same reason other MTV shows like Clone High, Spider Man, and Downtown did: Viacom execs are fucking retarded.

That's not a very kino attitude, user

Only when Messner-Loebs wrote it. When Kieth got a big head and decided he didn't need a writer, it turned into a mess.

Post hips.

One of the best Image releases from its "Golden Age". The cartoon was way faithful to the source material and I still want to have consensual sex in the missionary position with Julie.

>90´s were PC and profeminism
Brother, the 90s were a candyland compared to today.
>I think everyone has their own "outback".

Someone tell Sam to fucking finish Batman/The Maxx already. It's been like a year since the last issue.
