but why is he called "Robin King"
why would he come up with either term for himself
When’s Joker from another universe going to come and rape him?
>evil robin
>its Bruce
Why the fuck
Time to stop reading comics.
Comic books suck
Did this ever get storytime'd or are we still just getting random pages?
I'm pretty sure there's at least one Earth where Bruce briefly adopted the Robin mantle (usually a more light-hearted story.
Of course, the real answer is "DUDE EVIL BRUCE WAYNE LMAO" like most of the other Dark Multiverse mooks in Death/Metal.
For what purpose would Bruce Wayne ever adopt the "robin" mantle? His whole intent is to strike terror, not bounce around in green swimtrunks and give criminals a guilty boner.
Lmao

I BEG YOUR PARDON MY NIGGA?!
Batman comics have almost reached the level of edge here, but not quite.
That is way too much screentone.
Tomasi wrote this?
It has his name on it...
I looked into it and it apparently happened twice: Earth-1 (the Pre-crisis continuity) and Superman/Batman Generations. Both times it was a mantle he used in his teenage years and would come up with the Batman mantle later. "The Flying Fox" was another mantle that kid Bruce would use apparently.
I'm pretty sure there's some time travel shenanigans going on here.
Alfred says the tranquilizers he used on Wayne should keep him unconscious for a good long while. But Robin King shows up immediately after, already in the powered up form that he isn't supposed to get from the Darkest Knight until later.
I think Alfred is correct. The Bruce Wayne from the present really is still tranquilized and unconscious in the other room. The Robin King who attacks him is from the future, having been sent back in time to get closure on his own world before the the Darkest Night sics him on the protagonists of the series.
Bruce is the most mentally unhinged person in the bat family, and he grew up indulging in his revenge fantasies with no one to restrain him. It's easy to imagine that not turning out so well.
I wouldn't wish this on any of the Robins.
Alright, I haven't been following comics for a while now but this is interesting. Is this part of the Batman Who Laughs universe or something else?
Yeah, it’s part of the Death Metal event that’s going on right now.
This specific story is from the Legends of the Dark Knights one-shot.
The fuck is this and why does it exist? Its so cynical
Marshal Law: Kingdom of the Blind. It's a Superhero satire series written by Pat Mills.
is this from the batman that lmaos universe?
>Dennis O'Neil died
>THIS is what Batman comics are nowadays
