Amazing Finale one of the best comic events in awhile loved Doomsday Clock

Doomsday Clock is Johns saying fuck you to Didio and anyone responsible for nu52.

Literally the only people who liked this schlock are the same people who liked Johns previous attempt at this 'Infinite Crisis'. The same fucking rubes who think some hack killing the characterization of bad storytelling is somehow gonna improve the landscape.

Nigh Omnipotent Being and Smart Guy secretly are the cause of an era of edgy storytelling but it's good now because Superman came and told them 'No we can be better! This time really!'. At least Snyder has the benefit of doubt where he doesn't expect us to take his shit seriously as bad as Death Metal is, Johns is selling this as some form of high art that has an actual message. The message being "Don't be angry, you just gotta HOPE harder bro".

I don't agree at with what you said at ll, Doomsday Clock was breath of fresh compared to all this edgy and woke nonsense comics have become, it gave much needed appreciation to the lost golden age characters and Superman himself, because no matter how much you want to seethe Superman will always be the most important figure in DC, unfortunately he used some Watchmen characters to provide that message but he did the best anyone else could, your hate for Johns is amusing considering he has done the most to respect DC characters despite Didio fucking him all those years.

This isn't the first time Johns has made his own previous stories irrelevant. He pushed Kendra being her own person and then undid that with Brightest Day (even though we never really saw the ramifications of it because of New 52), he had one of the two defining Wally runs and undid that, etc.

The only people i ever see praising Doomsday Clock are either Johnfags or Supermanfags. The fucking comic is awful and aimless.
