didio had a policy during New 52 that blocked all marriages.
Even the Kate/Maggie one, which had been planned from the start of the New 52 Batwoman volume. Even though they would have got great press for it (a gay marriage in 2013), Didio blocked it.
It's why Ollie and Dinah, Barry and Iris, Clark and Lois, or Hal and Carol weren't allowed to be together. Marriage would be too nice for superheroes.
Arthur and Mera were together, but weren't allowed to be married.
