We can all agree that the Steven Universe Future version of Spinel was a disappointment on everything the SU movie introduced for Spinel.
From no mentions of her trauma to her returning to Happy Spinel with no other personality other than Diamond's best friend.
How would have you introduced and/or fixed Spinel in SUF?
Spinel in SUF rewrite
Fuck off tranny
who would have thought the character who only desired love and friends to be happy became happy when she got love and friends

Have her actually help Steven since she went through something similar before.
Definitely would've introduced her early on. Heck maybe have Future mainly based around Steven trying to help her on the side, which ends up becoming a bad thing as Spinel is now co-dependant on Steven for help, stressing him out further then in canon due to her toxic nature
[spoiiler]Eventually culminates into Steven corrupting and mindlessly using a corrupted version of his abilities to corrupt Spinel, turning them into a kaiju duo that nearly destroys Beach City and Little Homeworld[/spoiler]
Because she wasnt even a character?
Why she appear outside the movie
Transformers movies characters appeared in the show
Based.
This. All Spinel wanted was love and she was perfectly happy once she got it.
Assuming she's still only introduced later on? At the very least I would have let her have a more serious conversation with Steven at some point, rather than having her go full-force goofball again.
I know the point of her scene with him was a "But doctor, I am Pagliacci" moment, where the person always doing the helping suddenly is the one who needs help. But I hoped that they were going to acknowledge Spinel's parallels with Steven at some point. His entire story in Future is him wanting to hold onto what he loved about the past, and watching as all of his friends move on and "drift away" because they all have their own lives to live. And I guess I wanted them to build off of that, and have at least one scene of Spinel having a grounded talk of how she's still learning to move on and find value in herself, and not just in what other people think of her.
Yes but she is just...Happy.
No worries or insecure about being with the Diamonds and being a glorified replacement for Pink Diamond
SUF Spinel was perfectly in character, did you not see the ending of the movie? Or how she was before she was evil? Her still being an edgy fuck wouldn't make any sense and her trauma was brought up at least twice.
>and her trauma was brought up at least twice.
When Steven asked her? Yeah, but she just made it a joke.
Yeah that would have been just fine.
As a Spinelfag I really hate the edgy alt girl fanon version of her, but I still appreciate some of the art.
She wasn't joking though, he just took it as a joke. You misunderstand the character.
she's literally a drug addict
But I love how Fandom Spinel can be the edgy tomboy GF.
thats not who Spinel is though. edgy tomboy fits Amethyst and maybe Lapis if anybody. Spinel is a Looney Tunes character with BPD not an edgy depressed punk girl.
>Now that I know you, I want to kill you even more!
Totally not edgy
That was in the movie. And she wasn't even like that at the end of the movie so I don't see what your point is. Spinel is not edgy by default, she's exaggerated by default and experiences extreme emotion whether that be love, joy, anger, or sadness.
Yeah, she’s not that aware, she’s always been too much, that’s why Pink dumped her
What I want is for you SUfags to finally FUCK OFF. Your shitty show is over, go back to whatever hole you crawled from
