I'm assuming this person is referring to the Harley Quinn animated Ivy in which, yeah she mostly kills CEOs of companies that are killing the Earth. Traditionally though, she's presented as a misanthrope that only cares for plant life with a few exceptions (notably Harley) and wants to replace humanity with flora. I don't know how she's been presented in the comics lately, but I liked her recent animated version. Wouldn't be a bad direction nowadays.
