Is this really the only season?
Saw it all already and while I'm happy Jim is back to his old self, I WAS PROMISED A TROLL V ALIEN V WIZARD BATTLE, THE ONLY ALIEN WAS KREL FUCK THEM . It ends with less of a perfect ending and more of a setup for a next season

This is advertised as a miniseries by netflix so i think if they were to do something else it might be anotehr miniseries more focused on the crossover aspect

I was thinking more of a movie to make this the last series.

Claire is one of the few people that looks at you on the inside and not on the outside, that's why she stayed at Jim's side even when he was a troll. I think she prefers him this way tho

No, she is only mentioned twice. At the start of the series when the scene from the end of 3 Below takes place with Archie, and before the battle against Gunmar when he tries to send her a message saying he might die (but since he got sent to Camelot his phone won't work obviously). Steve is mostly played for laughs this time but he also tries to be come a true knight under Lancelot and when he dies in the final battle because of Bular he gets mad and calls in a giant monster (Nimue the Lady of the Lake) to kick Bular's ass at lightspeed. He eventually gets back in the present with his knight armor and all that stuff and for the rest of the series (so the last 2-3 episodes) he's the comic relief

The animation looks better. Not worth enough to get Netflix though. If this really ends at this season it ended in the most boring way possible for the entire world of the series, but in the almost best way possible for the mc of this series

Do I have to watch the second series for this or part 1 is enough?

You might want to watch the entire Trollhunters series. 3 Below content exists in this universe but watching a recap of 3 Below might be better for you since in Wizards, 3 Below is barely referenced in the first episode, once during the series, and then for the last 2-3 episodes there's one alien with the heroes from 3 Below and that's it

I like it but you can obviously see this is rushed. Wizard dude is a great MC though. I like him a bit better than Jim. Still, it feels like they're still setting up for a new season.

So apparently this is the one and only season. We might get some spin-offs but season 2 is very, VERY unlikely.

I don't really understand, if this was only meant to be one season, why they kept that sequel tease at the end.

It's something that could have been cut entirely and nothing would have been lost. Now it just sticks out unnaturally

At the end of 3below, Aja returns to be a queen on her planet. Not sure if they are doing long distance or something ad I haven't watched wizards yet, but relationship is currently unclear.

The series starts RIGHT after 3 Below. Steve sends her a message during the series but he's stuck in the past. Her brother appears and that's it.
