What does Zig Forums think of top cutie Mizue from Hoboagogo?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH
>MIZUE. A dreamer with her head in the clouds, Mizue is a quarter-life-crisis workaholic damned to low wage life in a food truck
>Mizue grew up with a surging wanderlust, to see the world out there as a photographer. She's eager to see the world and explore that vast unknown like she always dreamed growing up as a scout
>This, of course, wouldn't be so hard if Mizue's greatest enemy wasn't CRIPPLING SOCIAL ANXIETY! Being soft spoken and houseless is already bad enough; but the anxieties of social interaction often render her more stressed and at odds with herself than anyone else.
>BUT! with enough confidence and a clear enough mind, Mizue can take on nearly any obstacle thrown at her. She's the trio's most capable thinker, and all it takes is for her to focus to become the go-getter they need to.. well, get anything done.
Kind of neat. Makes me jealous of the creator for trying where I haven’t
People who aren’t sheltered literally don’t have social anxiety
>OTHER TRAITS: Will die for animals, thrift shop champion, head extremely full, victim of ADHD, 4x trained beaver scout, stays meticulously organized.
YOU JUST KNOW
It's over
>ADHD
>Super cute
Not realistic
Aren't those eyes a bit racist
No??
I think you need to stop shilling your trash here like you did yesterday.
I'm not the creator
>ADHD
>meticulously organized
Pick one.
T. Someone who’s suffered from ADHD his whole life and is on the verge of a breakdown because I can’t afford pills but also can’t put my life together because my broken brain is out to get me
Wow what a quirky and fantastical homeless person, they have all the selfish neuroticism of a wealthy sheltered kid, yet she’s validated by being part of an seemingly nobler low social class that truly wouldn’t give her the behaviors and personality she has. What a work. You could sell this idea to a lot of people by tapping into sheltered rich kids’ jealousy of how unsupervised poor people are
Oh, going on this - if you want to make her realistic hipster dealing with being a part of the lower class while still having dreams, she’d be a college dropout or art student with debt who know must live for cheap in the city.
This. Ditch the hobos thing, make it take place in the 60s and make it about hippies.
No, fuck that, the hobo part is the most interesting thing about the pitch. The problem is the execution.
Is there any execution? Looks like a bunch of concept art to me
Nope it’s just an autistic bunch of OC scribbles the guy somehow thinks would make a good show
That’s how all ideas start. The real problem is in the lack of follow through. This sits pitch yet. It’s close, but it needs 2 things.
1. An overall premise. We have the basics, but the OC-it is of the characters has made it so that we don’t know what aspects are actual”canon” to the show. There’s a bunch of stuff that needs to be pruned.
2. Episode synopses. All good pitches should have maybe 5 of these. Stories that go from beginning to end and showcase how the premise can work beyond a concept. It’s also a good way of showing that the creator has enough creativity to do something interesting.
A weak pitch will quickly descend into cookie-cutter generic plots, like that one about the magical phone apps.
From what I’ve seen, the creator needs to focus on getting things concrete instead of jumbled. That said, as they can’t even commit to a small comic featuring them, I’m uncertain of if they’re really ready to do anything with this cast.
Anyone hate this dude already? He seems to take up a lot of screentime and his design is objectively the worst of the 3
what does she smell like? also they're not really hobos if they're living in someone's vehicle and they're affording clothes, even if they're at the thrift shop.
Yawn
this is why i think the bald guy should be ditched. i don't mind the RV, it's perfectly rational for a homeless person to live in a trailer or something, but giving them an actual job (even if it makes no money) makes them objectively not hobos.
the girl's character could be made a lot more interesting by actually having her be a college student or some other ex-rich person
She was supposed to be paranormal or something, that might of been interesting.
What screen time? These are just the creator’s sketches. It’s not like there’s any story content for him to be overexposed in.
He’s also their favorite character, judging by the “bible” posted here.
Why wouldn’t he appear the most?
