NIP NOP

I can't wait for when we find out he detonated a Cardassian warp core in a terrorist attack when he was twelve.

BAJOR FOR BAJORANS

does an implant based on Vulcan brain patterns suppress emotions when Vulcan physiology entails STRONGER emotions
Why does the Captain need a reason to reassign Mariner when she literally just drunkenly sliced open an ensign's leg with contraband
Why does a warp-capable race need shovels to not starve
Why didn't the biofilters detect the poison
Why didn't the commander take contaminant protocol seriously
Why didn't anyone set the dispersal pattern on their phaser to knock out crowds
Why did the doctor put her bare hands on the spidergoo when she had no idea what it did or where it came from
How does Mariner know ultra classified TNG events and obscure nobody crew members

>Why didn't anyone set the dispersal pattern on their phaser to knock out crowds
They rarely did this even in the live action shows. Probably because it would quickly resolve a ton of problems.

>Why does the Captain need a reason to reassign Mariner when she literally just drunkenly sliced open an ensign's leg with contraband
She's black and that matters in nuTrek
>Why does a warp-capable race need shovels to not starve
They're the benjamin button of races. Their scientific end-goal is the pointy stick (or bashing two rocks together)
>Why didn't the biofilters detect the poison
It's super special poison
>Why didn't the commander take contaminant protocol seriously
Plot demanded it
>Why didn't anyone set the dispersal pattern on their phaser to knock out crowds
Plot convenience
>Why did the doctor put her bare hands on the spidergoo when she had no idea what it did or where it came from
Star Trek's always been completely idiotic about biohazard precautions
>How does Mariner know ultra classified TNG events and obscure nobody crew members
She read the wiki

>How does Mariner know ultra classified TNG events and obscure nobody crew members
Pretty sure that shit would be declassified given enough time. The Nixon tapes only took a few decades.

Why does a race that doesn't even have access to clean water also have functioning starships?

>Why didn't the biofilters detect the poison
Not poison but some infection. If you seen show you will know that biofilters means nothing when facing plot
>Why didn't the commander take contaminant protocol seriously
Again same shit happened in Trek already

Same reason Kazakhstan has cars and North Korea has tanks. Or why Detroit doesn't have drinkable water.
Shitty administration with bad priorities.

...

Because the show is badly written.

Ask Florida.

>Same reason Kazakhstan has cars and North Korea has tanks. Or why Detroit doesn't have drinkable water.
DEMOCRATS?

Detroit's water is fine and always have been, its another city Flint which is like 2 hours north which decided to stop drinking the good Detroit water and treat their own water

which failed and poisoned the city

this decision was also made by an unelected manager who the governor appointed to control city finances, not anyone from the city itself, its a rather basic lesson in letting "businessmen" run government, they try to cut corners on literal life and death matters

I READ THIS ALL IN PLINKET VOICE
ITS EVEN BETTER NOW

wait wasn't that the Dominion's plan?

>does an implant based on Vulcan brain patterns suppress emotions when Vulcan physiology entails STRONGER emotions
Because the pattern would presumably be obtained from an adult Vulcan who has trained to control their strong emotions. Maybe its like a fecal transplant but for brains.

>BAJOR FOR BAJORANS
Seeth harder Bajoran slave!

It was more like an unintentional outcome.

>does an implant based on Vulcan brain patterns suppress emotions when Vulcan physiology entails STRONGER emotions
Well, yes. Obviously, it need even stronger suppressant.

Haha, you're right, that does help.

Their are nigger tier slaves that somehow won a slave revolt. They don't know how anything works and everything is slowly falling appart as they are too stupid to do anything about it.

>Why does a warp-capable race need shovels to not starve
It's not like Star Trek isn't filled with warp capable species that still have social/resource problems that realistically should be easily solvable. Zefram Cochrane invented the warp drive on a post apocalyptic Earth. It's entirely possible for the species as a whole to have warp capability, but individual members of that species to still be starving. It's still kind of stupid, just saying it's not that out there for Star Trek.

The rest of your list is valid, though, and the answer to all of them is the writers having a minimal understanding of Star Trek. That and "comedy".

>Detroit doesn't have drinkable water.
Flint =\ Detroit

fucking liberals

>infected that could easily be put down with a single wide-spread phaser shot
>in orbit over an inhabited planet
>detonate the warp core
What the fuck
I didn't know Starfleet was into blowing up planets at second contact for no reason

E-D had a warp core breach over a planet with no seeming negative effect to the planet itself.

Wasn't that one of the movies
Wasn't that the movie where they think the windows on the enterprise are glass and they all shatter when the saucer hits the ground

So? Is Generations somehow not canon now?

>Is generations not canon
Kurtzman Trek can fuck right off, yes.
