Not any more. His death elevated him from an obnoxious replacement to a tragic victim, but when he returned from the dead it reminded everyone what a loose canon he was. Being a killer vigilante and enemy of Batman was the perfect role for him, but once chicks and fans started treating him like a misunderstood baby it was ruined. Now he’s on friendly terms with Bruce and it just makes him and all other non Dick Robins redundant. Tim is no longer the welcome relief of a stable contrast to Jason, Damien is no longer someone to be worried about going down the same dark path. Jason is no longer the evil opposite of Dick.

You wrong on that, He got it from Earth-51 Batman during Countdown. He brought the costume back the main DC earth and threw it in a dumpster. Then a rando picked it up and Tim fought them for it.
