Even shows that have a cold reception or last the entire run without it will gain "fans" and discussions for doing the lesbian will they won't they stuff, and this will get more discussion then shows that do every single aspect amazingly but don't have shipping or lgbt shipping hinted at. It's artificial fans, sure, but it makes it more apparent
