I mean Pan has been sucking CN's dick for years now. I remember the first podcast being about a shitty episode of Adventure Time where Nolan went hard against the writer. Then they did a followup like 20 episodes later and when Nolan tried to go after the writer again Pan tried to mitigate it.
He does say he has insiders at Nick aswell so I think Pan probably does believe it can be picked up by a network.

He vastly overestimates the quality of his artwork, and hearing him talk about wanting to get hired by a studio or calling himself a "character designer" in his videos always makes me cringe.
