NG is the last place you would want to put them. I've seen new webcomics get blammed from the art portal before because of low ratings.

An artist needs a place with enough artists to get attract people to watch but not too much that would make you disappear into the crowd.

Youtube and Deviantart are sites where you will never be noticed simply by posting your stuff there unless you make A LOT of good quality fanart.

Newgrounds is a place where you can rise through the ranks by posting good original content building a solid basic fandom you will need.

People want to have it all without paying their dues. Until you have at least some kind of following in the art community, it's a waste of your time to make something you intend to sell, because your inability to market will mean you have no power to make others notice your work exist.

In the art community, this means grinding fanart and doing gag-a-day and short form stuff until you reach a critical mass to take on more serious long-form projects

It's barelly less efficient than posting it on Deviantart.

Newgrounds is made to browse through your art, not to host your webcomic. At least seek a service that has built-in archive and page-by page navigation system.
