I'm happy they got rid of the bullshit and focused on the emotional core of the story.
Only issue I had was a few instance where they had human characters jump like 20 feet vertically. Great movie though.

Actually the movie is usually better than the comic and this isn't one of those times.
Superboy didn't literally punch him back to life. He altered reality and in that new continuity, Talia used the Lasarus Pit to ressurect Jason.
I actually like it that R'as does it himself in the movie. He's an enemy of Batman and evil, but he doesn't consider himself evil, he feels genuine remorse over killing a member of Batman's family and tries to undo the damage.

My love for Jason Todd is a secret shame. On the one hand, his return to life was the domino of returns to life in comics bringing down the concept of mortality and making there be no tension in a plot as you know the hero cant fail... and that fucking sweet ass costume. I am a sucker for a good costume. Modern Batman is drek, the current plot is horrid, the character isn't even alive... but god damn the Designers costume is so fucking swag. Too bad they fucked up Jason with his new Mortal Kombat outfit. Haven't been keeping up, maybe it's gone.
