Remember when South Park used to have episodes with fun plots like a man being frozen for 3 years and treated like a prehistoric caveman?

They still do these. Jesus Christ Zig Forums, either actually watch the show or stop bitching about how bad you assume it is now

>” He kinda looks like Steve Austin”
> “NO HE DOESNT STUPID!”

Stan and Kyle was fucking adorable back then

The show is shit now user, even Family Guy is better

Show sucked a bit for a while now, but Stick of Truth was a return to form.

>No what did you say? Used him for what?
>BLBLBLBLBLBLBLLBLB
>...
Holy fuck I miss when the show did stupid shit like this.

>Remember South Park
I've actually forgotten what even happened in the most recent episodes.

>8 and 13?
That's what got me.

Cartman turned some girl into a female version of himself in like 2 seasons
Then there was an eternity of weed jokes
Oh and Scott "Diabetes" Malkinson got an actually good episode which was nice
That's all i can remember

The first 3 seasons are still very fun to watch. Nowadays, every episode has to have a point in it.

The creators hate them

Did they stop with the overarching season plots yet? They really made the show significantly less fun to watch

Season 2 in particular.

At risk of sounding like an incel, a women moving out after her husband death and already having a family 3 years later it's realistic as fuck.

Don't listen to them, they just hate fun and the good times. It's like how Seth MacFarlane said that he doesn't like the first 3 seasons of Family Guy, despite being regarded as the best seasons of the show.

Does your standard for realism include the child born 10 years before the disappearence?

Nope

Yes, she's obviously a time traveller

so just like david lynch were he says he hates dune
he secretly thinks it's his best work like i do?

The whole "ripped from the headlines" thing and 6 Days to Air really got to their heads. They just lost it.

Was Fractured But Whole any good? Having it made by an internal Ubisoft studio instead of Obsidian was a red flag for me, so I never picked it up.

No

I prefer The Stick of Truth for it's story and battle system over The Fractured But Whole.

It was OK, and the combat was definitely improved, but Stick of Truth was much funnier and captured the feeling of being a long South Park episode better

You mean when they had plots that weren't about what annoys Matt and Trey that week?

Can't wait for the Covid episode with a character using a tape measure freaking out about not being 6 feet apart. Great satire there

Sometimes the seasons where it was more than just "hey look bro it's this real life event" feel like a hallucination

South Park is like Archer, in that it was pure gold in the time it was released

It might not always capture that same spark, but does it really need to? They're already Olympains

Dune is shit.

Yeah pretty much entire seasons are so dated that they aged super poorly. People shit on family guy for being nothing but reference humor that makes no sense six months from the shows air date but South Park does the exact same thing.

People shit on Randy taking up more of the series and that whole weed farm arc but that's closer to the original style of South Park than the shit they've been dealing with for the last decade. It's just not as good or funny but it is closer to the original style in the spectrum.

Don't remind me user. It hurts bro.
