A) Simon and Grace had a baby on the train six years ago and they either don’t remember or don’t know how to put two and two together
B) Hazel is Grace and Simon’s time traveling child from the future
C) Hazel is a null designed specifically to test Grace and Simon’s sympathy, so he made her look like a combo of both of them
D) it’s a coincidence. Whoever was in charge of Hazel’s character design made her mulatto looking for woke points, without caring that that makes her look like the other mcs’ mixed race love child, or even possibly to purposefully fuck with us

E) Brown lolis are cute

Based on the episode descriptions I say they're gonna run into Amelia and learn the truth about the numbers.

I don't think Hazel is a denizen, because that would just prove Grace and Simon are right.

Pretty sure Hazel is Hispanic, so yeah she's gonna look like a mix of them. She's definitely not their kid though.

What the fuck is this cast? Wasn't this show about a redhead?

They change characters every season and only keep them loosely connected by the setting and story. Officially, the show is about a train.

There still a lot of questions that probably won't be answered in Book Three, like for instance who is the ENGINEER?

Many theories about Hazel have been bandied about and speculated on.

Also one has to ask what kind of problems could somebody as young as Hazel have that she would even be on the train in the first place?

Why doesn't her number glow like everybody else's?

And who is that shadowy figure standing in the background at the far right? Are they one of Hazel's actual parents? Could it be Amelia?

Well, I can speculate on this much: I believe Hazel, and to a lesser extent Amelia are going to show Grave and Simon the error of their ways, and, at the very least, Grace will be redeemed, but Simon will resist, and will eventually be killed by Tuba, in order to protect Hazel.

I also believe that we will find out about what troubles Grace, Simon, and the rest of The Apex, and we'll all end up being sympathetic towards them. I also believe that The Apex themselves will see the errors of their ways and reform, even if we don't get each individual's back story.

I think Amelia will help out Hazel in reforming Grace and Simon, and possibly the rest of The Apex. We will see both Grace, and Amelia's maternal instincts come to the forefront.

I also believe that somehow, because of all of this, Amelia will have made peace with the fact that Alrick is dead, and there's nothing she can do to change that. She will, at the end, die with peace of mind.

Of course I could be wrong about all of this......

Book Three is set to be streamed August 13th, 2020 on HBO Max. That's this coming up Thursday. Check with them for more information.

Is HBO really the only way to watch it? I don’t want to pay for their service just to watch it unless they have a one month free test trial like Netflix.

Whether you think A or B is more likely somewhat depends on how old you think Grace and Simon are.

Some people think they‘re only teenagers, which means if you believe the daughter theory at all, you probably need to go with B to make it possible. But if they’re in their later twenties or older, A is feasible without the need for time travel.

I got a flyer in the mail over the weekend announcing that HBO Max is having a two week free trial, however, I'm with you on the fact that this shouldn't be the only way to watch it.

Cartoon Network's You Tube channel has also posted the trailer on their page, so that gives me hope that they will also air it on CN eventually, but maybe our anonymous friend will do The Lord's work once again......

Judging from the trailer, I don’t think we’re gonna see much of Amelia until maybe the last couple of episodes, and if that’s the case then I don’t think she’ll have enough time to get a big character arc this season.

Yeah, definitely past the second half of their teens, but I could believe they’re much older. If I was told they’re almost thirty I don’t think it’d be a stretch. But that’s a huge range, 18-30s. Especially when trying to theorize if they have a six year old daughter.
