Well early on in his Batman run it was looking like it could be the next big thing, and sales for Vision went through the roof, and Mister Miracle sold really well. In an industry with rapidly dwindling number of "name" writers that can sell a book, King has been consistently managing to do that until the Catwoman marriage thing and HiC caused backlash and underwhelming sales.

Strange Adventures had massive preorder numbers but the virus has made it hard to gage how well it will do longterm. Rorschach will be the big litmus test.

I feel that's a problem of the industry itself and the companies not understanding how to promote their writers. Plus it doesn't help that the big two have half their creative team appear more as cogs in the machine rather than essential creators to promote also
