>”Redcloak killed himself” retards btfo
Was this really the best move for Goblin-kind?
”Redcloak killed himself” retards btfo
Finally something besides endless lore yapping.
So Redcloak's just fucking dead now, right? Long forgotten from lack of following if he has any legit way to survive a direct giant thunder hammer to the chest.
The game sometimes takes HP seriously so he might be survived while fucked, plus doesn't he have an "auto-recall if below a certain HP" spell?
Honestly I've nearly forgotten everything I once knew about the comic from sheer disinterest, but if you're right about the recall it is odd it's not activating from a big fucking hammer landing on him. Then again it's also odd he isn't a graesy smeer on the floor, hence why I'm struggling to remember if Redcloak had any tricks up his sleeve that might give him a second wind.
He’s a super high level cleric. He’ll be fine. Also his eyes are not Xs
>Not as many as you
that's dumb. Redcloak led many goblins to their deaths at Azure City, sure, but that's war, and more importantly, a successful war, the result of which has created a state that can offer protection to countless other goblins. A perfectly reasonable use of soldier's lives. Plus those goblins were fighting for him voluntarily, and believed in the cause for which they died.
Durkon's "retort" there is stupid, and Redcloak shouldn't bat an eye at it, because he too believes that the losses suffered to take Azure City were worth it for the greater good of goblinkind
He was killing hobgoblins out of spite even when the siege was going right until one saved his life.
yeah but those are just hobgoblins
This comment shows that you need to re-read the siege of azure city.
Well as said. I believe his calculated minimum level was 17 probably 18 if he's been spending a month killing creatures that can give Xykon exp.
I thought he meant that the goblins would die due to the peace terms no longer being possible, or potentially the Snarl/the gods destroying the world.
I think he's referring to dooming his race (and other people of the world) by not taking him up on the offer.
He's just lying underneath the hammer. The impact doesn't seem to be affecting him at all. Shit art.
Oh shit I haven't kept up with the series since the chapter end with the Norse stuff.
Hell yeah time for some catch-up reading.
Which stuff
>not as many as ye
well that makes all the words worth it for someone to btfo redcloak like that
Nah, no way.
Can't they offer Xykon godhood in exchange for help containing the Snarl?
The chapter before this one.
With them stopping the vampire and putting the demigod voting on hold.
Why the hell would they do that?
Read start of darkness
the majority of goblins were working for him and Xykon out of fear of death
including his brother and said brother's family
the brother he himself killed in cold blood
Godhood here seems to come from mass belief, like the Dark One
It's banter intended to get under Red's skin and it worked.
Given Xykon's whole motivation is doing everything for shits and giggles, giving him divinity would be the absolute worst idea imaginable.
On a related note, I can't wait for him to reveal he's known redcloak was planning a backstab from the start. After all, Don't confuse not knowing with not caring
Redcloak is fine. He's a high level cleric in a party with an epic level lich and they were just about to start dungeon delving. So Redcloak has a bunch of fighting buffs on him. Also, dwarfdike is like level 6, 9 tops. Even with her spell buff, she can't do that much damage. She did break Redcloaks concentration, which saved Durkon. Next round RC can cast another spell, or use his "free action" to call in Xykon.
Am I misremembering shit but I could have sworn RC had a method to control Xykon if he got out of control.Or was that just those skeletons the necro controlled?
Yeha I have no fucking clue why people thought it was suicide. There were zero signs. Also, to the user who tried to argue that implosion was save or die, while I said it was damage over time during concentration, I win.
RC had the actual phylactery and the fake one was hidden away in Xykon's astral fortress. Not sure if it isn't the other way around though, despite what we've been told.
That's not going to be it. Redcloak has already betrayed Xykon in a way that that robs the lich of any reward he would be getting from helping Redcloaks plan. Xykon can't be aware of that or Redcloak would be dead.
His contingency plan from start of darkness is that if redcloak backstabs him, the monster is compelled to eat him and spit out the holy symbol. Redcloak is unaware of this contingency.
If he tries anything, he's fucked
I haven't read this in a while. What happened to the lich?
That’s a stone-cold burn, Durkon. I like it.
