Tom King is an idiot and his point was that Bruce had a more optimistic view of life, thus he remembered the original golden age first meeting, while Selina had a more grounded view of life, thus she remembered Miller's gritty Year One first meeting, and in the end of his shitty run he had Bruce admitting that both meetings actually happened. It was just that because his take on Bruce was super retarded this version of Bruce was unable to consider the Miller's Year One first meeting valid since during that meeting both he and Selina weren't Batman and Catwoman yet, while in the original golden age meeting they were. All because his Bruce believed he had "killed" himself as Bruce Wayne to be reborn as Batman who is his real self. So only the first meeting where he was Batman could be considered valid.
Either way, lets ignore King's retardation. Miller's Year One has been canon since it was published. It was canon for the Post-Crisis on Infinite Earths continuity, it was canon for the post-Infinite Crisis continuity, and it was canon to the post-Rebirth continuity.
