I like this show. I really do. But I’m hesitant to continue because we all know that at the end of the 3rd season, Anne is going home and will probably never see the Plantars again. We’re just being buttered up for the eventual emotional release.

Macy has so much hype behind her showing up and I can't help but get caught up by it myself despite all the cynics. I agree she's going to be the smarter or at least individually the strongest of the trio, especially how she's portrayed in the opening. I also enjoy the idea that she's going to be the one that doesn't want to leave Amphibia and return to being another pleb -- choosing to remain free and a hero in the fantasy world. I also think she's going to have more of the answers than Sasha and Anne.

Well in a character drawing video, Matt said he wanted Anne to look like she doesn’t fit in—hence the missing shoe and disheveled clothes—and, as much as a new heroic outfit would be, giving Anne an outfit that makes her fit in more with the world like Sasha or Marcy’s opposes this aforementioned design choice.
