I thought I would make the live thread an hour and a half early, considering it's the finale.
I wouldn't say this is the final thread. We're probably gonna have a talkback thread after the finale.

In the beginning there was The Ward From this Ward, all other Wards were begotten The Ward was too good for us, and so left us to obtain his true destiny False Wards arose to claim his position Mocking Ward, Limey Ward, Xena Ward, and Black Ward For their arrogance, the power of the gods turned half of the false wards to stone
These are the tales of the Wards.
Ward took taco in hand and said, "Do this, in memory of me."
I have watched this show since the first episode, but this is my first comment in these threads. Fun show, perhaps it's best when it grew away from the MCU, or more truthfully, was cast from it. That is all.
We're at the end of the road, friends. Coulsons, Petersons, doesn't matter, I'm glad we spent these years shitposting together.
Parker Russell
Shit I remember that, haha.
...Damn, this has been an experience

I can't believe this is the end. What a wild ride it's been. Excited for Fitz, hoping for Ward.
Levi Walker
It won't feel complete if there's no Ward. But the way that, in some of these goodbye videos by the actors, they don't even mention Brett, feels to me like something happened behind the scenes.
Gabriel Walker
>someone saved my ward bible verse Ward has truly touched Zig Forums
Adrian Howard
speaking of ward, what variation have you guys been calling sousa this season?
Hudson Price
>tfw read that thing user posted in the last thread that there seemed to be some drama behind the scenes with clark and henry and chloe and nat

the what
I know there's always been rumors of Fitz and Simmons' actors not getting along, and Fitz not getting along with the rest in general, but what's this?
Carter Richardson
>Ward I concede bros. I think it's highly unlikely unless they pull some giant time-travel shenanigans to pull together some ultimate team. They're currently in a timeline when Ward is just a kid if he hasn't been killed yet. I think the namedrop is all we can get.
Just remember that Ward went out as a standup guy in the Framework. RIP
Extremely unlikely that it'd happen, but imagine Fitz has been time traveling on his own, gathering a team of AOS all-stars for the final battle.
I mean, no way, but how cool would that be.

There's speculation that certain actors left on bad terms, citing curious post-season interviews involving Natalia and Chloe.
At the end of the day it's just rumors and guesswork between fans, though
Caleb Hall
Basically sometime during the shooting of season 6 Natalia unfollowed everyone apart from Ming and Henry. Her and Chloe seemed especially distant. Clark and Henry unfollowed eachother and when Clark was confirmed for D23 Henry and Natalia dropped out. If you watch any SDCC 2019 interviews Natalia/Chloe and Henry/Clark seemed very distant. People can speculate all they want but honestly nobody knows what happened
Xavier Lopez
ah well. I wish there'd been an insider to confirm things, like there was for the Defenders shows.
Adam Mitchell
Any recommendations for similar shows that can fill the void?
Joseph Cox
what was going on with the defenders?
Ryder Wood
I'll be honest, knowing it's the end well in advance has helped me make peace with preparing myself for today. I remember the final weeks of seasons 4 and 5 were nerve-wracking because ABC kept waiting until the very last minute to give a decision and signs kept pointing to "it's getting axed any minute now" (and if Disney hadn't bribed them, probably would've been).
If they had been canned during season 4, I would've been devastated. But we got three seasons more, and they were given the chance to go out on their own terms (arguably twice). End of an era, but I feel calmer than I expected I would.
from what I remember, most of the info came out by the time the shows were dead or dying, but someone on reddit, apparently verified as an insider, said that Luke and Jessica's actors didn't like each other, didn't get along with people in general, were "very precious", etc. Also Danny's actor was very well-intentioned and dedicated, but kinda sensitive, so it hit him hard when IF wasn't well received. Matt and Frank's actors were supposedly the best and nicest of them all, and "born for the roles".
