Increases my optimistic-end hope for the series, relatively neutral effect on my baseline expectations.

It was dead on arrival when it was based on a series that has produced zero good content or spinoffs

A bit too late, don't you think?

lol this franchise is such a joke. 1 good season of out of the three in the original. Korra never as good as that. Movie was shit. Comics forgettable. The creative team has been exposed as untalented on their own. When will the discussion begin on ATLA being a fluke?

Option A: Korra sequel
Option B: Kyoshi novel adaptation
Option C: Aang prequel
Option D: Wan sequel
Option E: live-action reboot

They actually went with option E.

>A
No fucking thank you
>B
Lol yes another dyke series with a protagonist who is a terrible human being.
>C
I don't care about Aang
>D
Nobody gives a shit about Wan

Kyoshi is just Bi tho? She dates a lot of men and women

>she's BISHEXUAL you bigot

I just corrected you. Get over it

Sorry you can't accept that the fandom has god awful ideas for new animated series

Seethe harder, kyoshidyke.

Option A is what I hope for, but it is only worth it if either
1. Bryke actually listen to the legitimate criticisms people had with Korra and fix the issues
2. The franchise is given to someone else who knows the series and is actually a competent writer/world builder
And in both instances, what happened in Book 2 of Korra has to be fixed through either retconning or solid writing, which is not impossible despite what some say. The likelihood of any of this happening however is minuscule and that pisses me off to no end

>Wanting more Korra
Literally why
She isn't likable, and her cast sucks.

Yfw you went to the wrong person

$.01 cents has been deposited into your account, thank you Whorra shill

Having no Avatar cycle to deus ex machina your protagonist out of bad situations is actually good.

I have not seen Korra
Do.they use that?

I was moreso talking about a new series after Korra, but those things can again be fixed with listening to criticism and better writing

Aang gives Korra her bending back at the end of book 1. It's no different to how Roku and Kyoshi saved Aang in his own show.

The way the Avatar cycle works is very bad in practice.

I thought Roku was extremely useless and Kyoshi didn't really save aang just go "yeah I killed that faggot"

Almost like we don't need another animated series about another Avatar because they make for terrible protagonists and all of them are bad characters

Roku is a terrible Avatar but he saves Aang's life in the fire temple regardless. Kyoshi saves Aang from the trial nonsense.

It's just not good. After book 1 Korra had only herself to count on, when she fucked up she fucked up and there was nobody there to miraculously save her.

Yeah I never liked Roku
How did the avatar who had kill em all kyoshi do abosulty nothing

Nah Kyoshi and Korra are good characters. Sadly they're both faggots.

Kyoshi fucked a lot of dudes tho

Being unlikable as fuck and designed for fetishists doesn't make them good characters.
