Loeb is gone and Feige has no interest. It's over. loved it while it lasted.

s5 "finale" had Thanos as a plot point
s6 didn't know about the snap and ignored it
s7 doubled down on returning to the s6 timeline and the epilogue almost couldn't take place in a post-snap world

There's never going to be another series. The costumes and props are being auctioned off. This was the last time AoS characters will be seen. Giving yourself false hope for something that will never happen is not good.

This ending actually stings way more than Endgame

1. We've spent way more time with these characters than the Avengers combined

2. We probably are never going to see these characters as played by these actors again

Apparently there was a line about the snap but it was cut for time (also because it's probably really pointlessly extraneous in the finale)

Quake and YoYo are probably obscure enough they won't want to use them, so hopefully we won't get a disrespectful recast and can at least pretend they are the real versions of those characters in the mcu.

Can't say the same for Daredevil and Luke Cage. Netdlix shows will probably be contradicted and retconned the most. AoS can still mostly exist as background events that eventually branced into a different timeline.

I remember trying to watch this show when it first broadcast. It was so difficult trying to keep up. Now that its streaming though, it is a way better experience. I hope they become millionaires via syndication like the cast of FRIENDS.
