What was her problem? Was she defective?
What was her problem? Was she defective?
She's irken, defective by nature.
She had literal autism, she couldn't let something go after 50-70 years
>What was her problem?
Zim
she was stuck on clean up duty on a planet called DIRT for like an entirety for humans, can you blame her?
/thread
We don't know how long Irkens live, it could of been a month in relation to their lifespan for all we know. Also Earth literally translates to dirt, she left Dirt to take over Dirt
Remember Irkins social castes are based on height. She is about the same size as Zim (the smallest Irkin we ever see) so she is basically a bottom caste citizen through no fault of her own, but unlike Zim she's smart enough to be pissed off about it.
>but unlike Zim she's smart enough to be pissed off about it.
She's only pissed off because Zim screwed her over with his usual faggotry. She's still willing to suck up to the Tallest and be a pawn of the empire just like any other Irkin.
True, but she was cheated out of her spot.
mean!
the real answer is and she is a trained incvader who is being outshined by a total fucking moron who is constantly thwarted by a single semi-competent human or, more often, Zim's own inability to conduct a proper invasion.
She probably knows that the Tallest are disdainful toward Zim, too, so in every way Zim is to be despised and spat upon by one such as her.
She is kinda cute
She was after Zim's Robot Bee.
She wanted revenge sex with Zim. I'd imagine she'd be pretty pent up after 50 years of janitorial work.
Don't bring back the shipping.
Like they said, it's pretty much , but other than that, she is in fact most likely defective, but only so because she contested the orders of the control brain (she left dirt because she felt being a janitor on dirt was a waste of her skills, which is pretty much what Zim also did.)
This is the explanation I have always liked the most.
Yeah, too bad they never really went anywhere with the whole defective stuff. Though to be fair they didn't go anywhere at all in relation to anything.
She just needed a good fuck.
Yes, but that was also one of Zim (the series)'s charming points. They left a lot of things open, intentionally or not, allowing the fans to fill in the gaps themselves.
They left pretty much everything open though, it's one thing to have mystery and another to have literally nothing. I mean, the show was good and all, but it didn't really show the more interesting stuff of the universe.
"Defective" in irken terms just means they aren't that subservient to the control brains, which simply means they are too independent to be reliable soldiers, so the tallest try to get rid of them by sending them away on some irrelevant mission. That's pretty much it.
There could have been other stories with other "defectives" also questioning their orders or even outright rebelling against them, but you're right that they didn't do much with that concept.
Is Skoodge a defective?
SHE WAS AFTER HIS ROBOT BEE!
Skoodge was supposed to crash on Zim’s couch after he got fired in that orbital sweep of Blorch
She is kinda hot?
Technically Skoodge wasn't defective since he actually accomplished his job (several times in fact), but I suppose you could say he would be defective by not dying in a sun like the Tallest wanted him to do.
>Was she defective?
Probably. Tak has an independence streak and seems more emotionally-driven than the standard Irken, so it's not a difficult concept to grasp. Obviously she's not a destructive ball stupidity like Zim, but considering how she nearly conquered a world despite her programming as a janitor, I'd say that's worthy of a second opinion.
I miss that bee.
She was too much of a stacy in a short body.
They live 300-500 years, so it's the equivalent of a 10-12 year grudge
