This has to be the most impressive and positive movement I’ve seen from the industry.

What's with women and using demons in cartoon pitches?
It was cool when they were teenagers?
Because. As we all know. They fuck dogs and pretty much any other thing out there.
>tfw want a slasher cartoon but would just get lumped in with all these shitty attempts at horror comedy
Because they're fat
It's the natural endgame for white women hedonism.
Once you've fucked animals the only thing worse is Satan.
Is the Shivering Truth the only good animated horror comedy? Is it pretty much the only good animated horror?
Courage is technically horror comedy
Conservative Christians were such a pain in the ass that they ended up making a lot of people interested in hell, because who'd want to go to a heaven with them in it?
I don't really fucking know. Besides if there was a hell it wouldn't be too different from earth after all those human souls conquered it like they conquered earth.
It's sorta why we get so many evil superman stories. Everyone thinks they're the first to come up with the idea, and maybe at one point it was actually clever and subversive, but now it's just an overused trope. But that doesn't stop people from thinking that taking an idea to its natural extreme. Demons are the ultimate bad guy so it makes sense they'd be used as a source of conflict or flipped to be the protagonist. But again, when everyone does the same idea it stops being clever or unique
It wasn't really funny and it wasn't scary either.
I watched it because it was the only thing on at the time, but it was easily one of my least favourite shows because it didn't do either of the two things it supposedly tried to be.
Animated horror is just super rare. I just want a good old fashioned slasher series, wouldn’t even have to be supernatural even though I like shit like undead killers
>parnters
>trave
>to found
>mytological
>LGBT representation
What a disgusting clusterfuck of a person, and the pitch is unbelievably bad too.
You should post this in the cringe thread instead.
There’s a cringe thread
Really trying too hard to be unique. This is really what the problem is. You don't need a bunch of crazy shit all thrown together.
Just make a cool world in itself, some decent characters with lite tropes instead of forced.
I would unironically like a show about a Victorian era prostitute who kills rapists and other men who deserve it, basically the reverse Jack the Ripper. No supernatural shit, just gritty realism.
Isn’t there a lot of people who think the Ripper was a chick?
Sounds like something from Penny Dreadful or even something Alan Moore would make.
So what? Like 2 episodes and then it's done? Or are you going to go with false allegations so you can artificially bump up them numbers?
>prostitute who kills rapists and other men who deserve it, basically the reverse Jack the Ripper
She'd kill exactly one "evil male" before being arrested, taken to Newgate prison and hanged for her crimes.
The end.
This seems up my feelings towards The Owl House. It was advertised as a horror comedy and had some cool visuals but then it just turned out to be someone’s old Harry Potter fanfic.
What was the point of the old witch being her mentor if they were just going to have Luz in wizarding school?
Like astrology and animal spirits mixed with Sonichu-level autism, that's internet "witchcraft" for ya.
>she gets caught because I say so
Shes never caught and she kills Jack too.
Now that seems like a wild adventure.
None of these are actually gonna get picked up OP, even if they're good idea's
This was a weird self-indulgent period all because industry people got pissy at a very specific reboot that was really just more John K hate and everyone figured they could make a better cartoon
So we ended up getting a list of shitty idea's that were laughed at for a few days before shit died down
It was originally supposed to go full MAP and have Eda/Luz as a couple but Disney wasn't woke enough for that so after Dana threw a chimpout and punched her cintiq they just threw her a bone to allow it to be Luz/Amity, which required the school to get more focus.
The Monkey?
Imagine pitching this, getting approved and then seeing your style get reduced to bean mouths and flat disgusting pastel colors to keep within budget while the writers from Twitter make it a magical slice of life lesbian representation project completely removed from whatever was originally intended.
This kind of feels like everyone trying to show off their BFA projects.
>there were only two rapists in the Victorian era
Okay bros, here's MY pitch for a better cartoon:
>Plot revolves around an occultist pimp and his crew of sexy prostitutes with no skills in the sack.
>The pimp is tired of living the life of a broke-ass bitch, so he summons a succubus to teach them the ropes.
>The series starts out as a sexy comedy, and slowly transitions into a action/horror/comedy as the prostitutes slowly become more demonic themselves, and get roped into an eternal war between Heaven and Hell.
Most people are secret atheists that don't believe in hell or heaven so making stuff like this doesn't scare them.
>my first self-indulgent superficial revenge story - angry young white girl edition
Laughed at mostly on the Zig Forums side of things probably but I doubt this thing would have happened as long if it didn’t recurved a general positive reaction
I do like how some have started just taking the piss out of it

Where are the angel cartoon ideas?
Can you give two Confirmed names of people convicted of rape charges in that era?
I really like the art here but the pitch itself is a little much to take in all at once. This strikes me as the plot of a webcomic you get really into for a while but then the author stops updating regularly for, like, a year, and you just gradually lose interest entirely.
>arcade machine that gained sentience
We get it, you listened to Cabinet Man by Lemon Demon.
cause demons are cool. And have alot of potential.
I can see this as a miniseries
I realize you're super entranced by slightly novel content being gathered in one place, but this whole thing is super unimpressive for people who knew about websites like Behance for years.
Twitter casuals, neck yourselves. You're hardly a fully actualized person so it's not even suicide.
ah, we're still doing this gay shit, are we?
