>Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), the Master of Kung-Fu, is the estranged son of The Mandarin (Tony Leung), leader of the terrorist organization known as "The Ten Rings".
>Shang-Chi once worked for the MI-6 - the UK’s secret intelligence service - against the Ten Rings, but has since abandoned that world, until a deadly conspiracy draws him back into a dangerous battle.
>Clive Reston is a seasoned veteran and Shang-Chi’s old partner and friend, who is now married to Leiko Wu (Fala Chen), an elite operative who once had strong feelings for Shang-Chi.
>Takeshi Matsuya (Ronny Chieg) is a computer hacker who becomes Shang-Chi's associate after he leaves the MI-6.
>The Elder (Michelle Yeoh), a powerful and mysterious figure, organizes an underground martial arts tournament to decide who will become the new master of the legendary Ten Rings.
>Shang-Chi infiltrates the tournament to prevent the Mandarin from obtaining the Ten Rings, which forces him to work alongside Leiko and Black Jack Tarr, an MI-6 agent and elite fighter who enjoys the thrill of the battle.
>Shang-Chi's opponents include his siblings, Cursed Lotus (Awkwafina) and Moving Shadow, as well as Razorfist (Florian Munteanu), Ghostmaker, Steel Claw and Midnight Sun.
>The Mandarin plans to use the Ten Rings to awaken the mighty dragon Fin Fang Foom to help him conquer the world.
I don't like Simu Liu and never have. He's easily the weakest main character in Kim's Convenience. Even shitty-ass Janet is more interesting.

Or, you know, classic adventure.
Aiden Jones
And, as I'm sure we all agree, just lifting from a Bruce Lee movie to make Shang-Chi is probably the most faithful adaptation of the character they could do.
Adrian Ortiz
No it doesn't
Ryan Carter
This. Probably the movie I’m looking forward to most besides Multiverse of Madness
Kevin Turner
>naming your terrorist organization after something you don't have Is the Mandarin a retard?
Lincoln Green
Be honest, the only reason you’re interested in this movie is to see Mandarin done right.
I hope he's good because I'm waiting for the discourse to turn from "muh Fu Manchu ripoff. Mandarin is a shitty villain. You can't make him a good character" bullshit used by IM3-fags to defend Killian to "based MCU I always knew they can make Mandarin right"
Grayson Nguyen
They can’t do him right without Iron Man. Mandarin is the direct opposite to Tony, that’s why they work as arch enemies. They represent two radical and opposing ideologies to helping the world, from their interactions with government to their thought on human freedom.

>Fin Fang Foom mentioned in phase 4 >Prequel Captain Marvel movie introduced young Monica in Phase 2 >Thor Ragnarok going balls out crazy just to see what would happen in Phase 3 and getting massive success from it
Most of Iron Man's rogues are going to end up in other movies and tv shows, they'll probably have Justin Hammer or someone as Titanium Man in whatever they do with Thunderbolts
