Remember when this was just an excuse theme for LEGO to push their Beyblade knockoffs?

Man, why did they add the random love triangle. This was great back in the day. The toys were cool as well.

Because its good you loser

Modern Lego's modus operandi is: if something is succesful, keep it going forever and ever

Just like how TT has been making the same games since 2004

Did they ever give Cole a big tiddy GF? He deserves something.

This.

Holy shit I thought that ended years ago.

I thought that died when I was in like 6th

I still like it alot. Last season was pretty amazing. Anyone else excited for the 10th anniversary?

Because it's modern Bionicle.

It will be run into the ground

At this point, I think Ninjago has lasted far longer than Bionicle.

I've only played the video game based on the movie. It had scenes from the movie and most of the same voice actors, they were both horrible.

Recant those words you apostate

They're about the same but Ninjago will probably last longer.
Bionicle: from early 2001 (or late 2000 in Europe) to mid-2010. If you count the failed reboot, add another two years.
Ninjago: 2011-today.

Whats up with the blue ninja. Is that Zane or Jay?

A thousand times this. OP remains a fag.

Jay. He got Tron'd earlier and became a rock star cult leader under the name Superstar Rockin' Jay. Zane and Pixal are in the real world.

The show died after season 2 and is killing LEGO's creativity.

One of the best action show we have now. Sadly is hindered down by "no kill" rule. but it still had many interesting topics, like family death, love betreyal, old friend betreyal...

But it IS true. It's not as deep lore, but every season we get more and more info.
Just look at this:

It's true, though. Why bother coming up with a bunch of new original themes when you can just shoehorn them into Ninjago like you have no faith in them standing on their own?

how's wife and kids?

Yeah it's batshit most of the time

they tried with Chima, but Ninjas are cooler than animals.

Newest original Lego theme is Monkee Kid, a show inspired by the Journey of the West.

Chima had an interesting setting imo, wish it stuck around more at least for the lore, prehistoric dudes looked cool

He should have stayed a ghost/earth spirit. He was more interesting that way.

There's also Hidden Side, which is still out.

It's a mix of Ghost Busters, Goonies and Stranger Things. It also has this AR mobile game that goes with the sets.

...Love triangle? I don't want to know, do I?
