Why don't they just give Batman powers yet?

Why don't they just give Batman powers yet?
>Bruce is a connection to the God of the Dark Multiverse Barbatos
>Bruce is prep time incarnated
>Bruce can solo the Justice League with his boxes
>Bruce can solo the Justice League with his Justice Buster mecha Fenrir
>Bruce has a suit that can solo Darkseid but kills it's user
>Bruce has a suit that can solo Darkseid that it doesn't kill it's user
>Bruce is the idea of vigilantism came to life
>Batman Who Laughs didn't need any power to do what he did to the multiverses

this way they can have their cake and eat it too
>He's just a guy, he doesn't have powers- that's the appeal
>Also he pretty much has powers

Because muh status quo.

Why don't they just swap the Superman and Batman writer teams?
>Doesn't think that Clark should exist.
>Can't think of anything to do with the 20+ other characters in the series.
>Can't come up with anything other than punching.
Sounds like a Batman comic to me.

That doesn't count as a power to you?

Because Batman and Joker are the exact same person in every way, so if Joker can't have powers then Batman can't have powers

Why are you bitching about a character you don't like?
I like batman, so I stopped reading Batman comics around the time for court of owls because if a comic isn't good or don't look good lose interest and I just go for backlog (with Batman that is easy). Why would anyone give a fact about what is currently going on with the dark universe bullshit when said bullshit is confined to events and doesn't affect any other characters series at all. Death metal doesn't even affect main Batman titles. The industry is garbage and instead of focusing on talking about stuff you like here you are shilling fucking Batman.

They did that and Tom Kings Batman run is one of the worst in recent memory.

I think the real problem is with Batman in the crossovers.
Think about it:
Batman in the JL is literal the greatest mastermind in the world.
Batman in his solos can't even solve where Riddler is.
Batman in the JL can solo them with a mecha.
Batman un his solos can't defeat Bane.
The problem is the fact writers that love Batman try to make him important to the squad by making him being the greatest warrior in the world while not realizing what plotholes it makes in Batman's runs.
The explanation is
>Batman sports with his rogues because it would be too easy destroy them with a super suit.
Really? Batman is playing with the lives of innocent Gothamites for his game?
So, the problem is that Batman should be in his own universe, separated by other DC properites because Batman and Gotham weren't created for being in a shared universe.

>N-no ! Batman should stay powerless ! He is just a normal human who trained really hard to master every fighting skill, become the most intelligent (or second or third) man on Earth (outsmarting Flash or Sup, which can think super fast) and know everything !

this panel always kills me, its so awful

>That doesn't count as a power to you?
That's the problem, they still pretend he is powerless even with this multiversal wank.

Batman is not supposed to have superpowers. He’s supposed to be that regular guy like us and like nature, we came out on top because we’re smarter, not because we had giant teeth or claws. That’s why Batman should overcome god like beings because it makes for a great story.

So, you are saying that his super power is to be more intelligent than super genius aliens and god that can react and think at the speed of light ?

>and like nature, we came out on top because we’re smarter, not because we had giant teeth or claws.
Gods like Superman belongs to a different natural order than the earth's one.
The presence of Superman makes a human like Batman nothing but an ant

Yeah that’s the thing. Superman isn’t actually smarter. If you needed someone to do open heart surgery, Batman could probably do it in practice. Superman could read a bunch of books then he’d ask real doctors what to do and then he forgets it afterward. It’s just what it is.

Thank you for admitting Batman's is his super intelligence.

>If you needed someone to do open heart surgery, Batman could probably do it in practice.
Maybe I would ask it to a real doctor, like Wonder Woman who has the amazons purple ray that heals anything

>Why are you bitching about a character you don't like?
I'm bitching about this because I actually like Batman.

Tom King had never written Superman yet when he started Batman...

>And so i became Bulletman
Snyder is a legit mongoloid.

He wrote Superman up in the sky

You want Bendis Batman?
Could it be a so bad it's good?

You obviously don’t get Batman. The best thing about him (and his twin The Joker) is that he doesn’t have any powers, and he relies purely on human intelligence and creativity. Batman isn’t for mental weaklings who want god to solve their problems, but humanists who refuse to be held back, even in a society that shuns the intelligent.

Because then you have to give everyone powers.

Well, ok.
Then, don't wank him as the one that can defeats gods and superpowered inhuman villains and that could free Gotham in 1 day with a super suit.
I'm talking about him being wanked beyond sense

>Then, don't wank him as the one that can defeats gods and superpowered inhuman villains and that could free Gotham in 1 day with a super suit.
Why not? It's still a testament to his intelligence.

>Why not? It's still a testament to his intelligence.
If he is so smart...why doesn't he simply realize that if he uses a super suit from Justice League to take care of Gotham's problem he can resolve Gotham's problem?

For the same reason Superman or the Flash haven't resolved their cities problems.

Well I'm talking about how most "normal" non-powered superheroes have similar feats.

>For the same reason Superman or the Flash haven't resolved their cities problems
Flash did, Zoom just went back in time and took the villains from another time.
Superman's reason is because he isn't the one that can kill and humanity need to learn how to deal with them too.
Batman just wants Gotham to be ok

If you can make excuses for them, you can make for Batman as well. Status quo is God, after all. Powers or no powers.

Metropolis is, between Superman and Lex Luther, relatively peaceful with a thriving economy.
Gotham is a hellhole
