What did you guys think of Michael Cera as Scott? I think it makes less believable that he got with all thlse hot girls, but he delivers the jokes pretty well and comedy is the most important part of the comics.

gay guy fucks a ton of women and then targets a gaping vagina roastie as his love interest.
well done Jews, well done.
I avoided the film in theaters because I didn't like him in so many other things, but after watching it I feel he was well cast for that role.
took me like 10 years to admit it was a decent movie but i will never read the comic based on what i saw of it here back in the day, I still think all the lgbt inserts were obnoxious. Cera is eh, anyone that can act like a band nerd could of replaced him.
Terribly miscast because for whatever reason he was getting this huge push in Hollywood at the time.
>lgbt inserts
The word is characters, you faggot loser.
He's poorly cast to be honest. He kinda works but it's in spite of his casting.
Dude, that is insane. Scott Pilgrim treatment of LGBT shit is juvenile if anything. It's pre-woke gays are just novity used for jokes sort of deal. Other than Wallace who is one of the besy characters there is a lesbian kiss that doesnt go anywhere and Stephen being gay as a pay off for his shitty relationship with some cunt it's a really small part of the comic over all. I would still give it a read if you liked the movie.

Bad casting decision; his performance is fun enough but Scott as a character is supposed to have moderately good looks in a conventional way. He's like a cute airhead a girl in HS might want to date. Somebody like the kid they cast as Young Neil would have been a way better decision
you proved my reasoning correct as to why i think its obnoxious, being gay shouldn't be a character but instead part of a personality trait and only mentioned when necessary as a plot device for that character. Not for diversity shilling.
Grow up crybaby and take the dick out of your ass and put it in your mouth and shut up.
Those are valid criticisms but it is not the case with Scott P at all bro
I do not believe that Michael Cera is the best fighter in any province of Canada. He doesn’t have the jaw, and his skeletal body couldn’t even punch out a moderately in shape man under the age of 50.
It's amazing you admit you haven't even read the comic and yet you're gonna claim the one gay character is nothing but a plot device.
It's sad really
While in the comics you believe he has the retard strenght to pull it off.
>Those damn gays always trying to exist in my media! Isn't it bad enough that they exist in real life?
>They are just snowflakes! They can't handle me not wanting them to exist!
Don't breed.
I like the shitty garage band filter makes itevenbetter
Whoever made this is really dumb. The movie was a flop it didnt have that much of a cultural impact and Ramona's character was never aspirational. Who really ruined all these women is the bitch from Spotless Mind. She was obnoxious and even tho we are not supposed to think that, had colored hair and came before. Ramona is almost a spoof of her.
Is it true that the comics start to suck after this dude
I liked most of the movies, but literally every single character is more interesting than Scott and Ramona. They were the worst parts.
+the proof this kind of bitch existed before the movie when Pattel summons "Demon Hipster Chicks"
I dont think so. There is good jokes until the end.
>I did not read the comics, but I know better than you who these characters are, their point and what they do
Yeah, classical Zig Forums shit
I hope Kieran Culkin fucks your ass
Too ugly.
>took me like 10 years to admit it was a decent movie
Great, now it'll only take you a further 10 to realise no, it really is dogshit.
I like it, and user, certain goofy ass guys get hot girls all the time. It’s one of the great injustices of life.
You know honestly I liked the movie until I read the comics.
After I bought and read all the volumes it became clear to me just how much character development and story the movie was missing.
>It’s one of the great justices of life.
FTFY
Yeah it is.
It's a story about some faggot.
He's not even interesting in the comics.
>BPD and ecstasy, conceited with low self-esteem.
>She's a teenage dream, if you hate yourself.
Brandon Routh was fucking great as Todd Ingram. Loved that part.
I rewatched it pretty recently
I thought it was good as a teenager
It still is good. I give it a B+
I liked Ramona a lot as a teen, but watching it as an adult I thought Ramona kind of sucked. She was just very blaise, and imo not worth fighting over
Heh tongue sprite. Bisexuals are magnum opus.
>Bisexuals are magnum opus.
only if they're women with a man in the middle
