Realistically, I hope not. It was a good movie, but any reference to capeshit was clearly tacked on to a story that was written about a dude with mental illness struggling to cope with society. Some dildo studio exec made a halfassed comparison of that screenplay to the DC Joker and decided this was what they wanted instead.
