I vaguely remember one ep. The green one's submarine suit malfunctioned or something and he nearly died at the bottom of the sea but somehow survived. After that he started being dick to the other two till the end of the ep where everything got resolved.
I distinctly remember grabbing a handful of sand for some reason.

Yeah, John Thunder, because of course the native american would be called Thunder. He and Rex Charger, who was basically Tony Stark, were part of the 2nd wave of toys for the show. Unfortunately the toyline was axed so their toys never got past the prototype stage.
