Is Hinobi actually the bad guys?

>Is Hinobi actually the bad guys?
Yes 100% in any other show they'd have been the villains off the rip, and I'm sure we're heading down that road at some point.

Duh

How many of them include a kitten that can bite your head off?

Cause I want three packs.

Have you ever played a video game? It's worth the risk.

Somehow I doubt Glitch Techs is going for this amount of nuance.

It would be great if it did. But I don't think they will.

The final episode shows there is something sinister going on behind the scenes but we'll never know.

Oh yeah dude. They make me excited dance Emote.

I hope they renew for a third season.

I feel like they're finding their footing.

You know maybe is worth the risk if you are playing some super immersive virtual reality like in ep 1

But even the fucking pong had one of those, and is just a pixel moving in a screen, why the fuck do you put that there

Game companies are evil user. But at the very least Hinobi fixes your hardware free of charge.

You know what? Fair enough and so far I haven't seen any microtransactions.

Not only that. That pixel was almost invincible.

Did you watch the show? They are definitely going that route.

I have the theory that the entire world is a simulation, thats why the can magically undo the damage the Glitches cause.

The only three times there was any worries about collateral damage where when the HQ itself was under attack and two times where the power station was in danger of being destroyed. So the HQ keeps everything in order and the electricity keeps the illusion going.

They do underpay their workers, though. By a ludicrous degree. That whole "XP" gimmick is just a lure to prevent their stupid teenage brains from realizing they're getting screwed.

All because the concept of "destruction" had not been programmed into it. Imagine if somebody of Ridley's caliber did that shit intentionally.

So that's why the hires are teenagers.

They're too stupid to understand.

How much XP did bengy buy with his mother's credit card.

Ridley is such an aimless character right now. I hope they do more stuff with her.

Hopefully a villain.

Eh... not quite villain. Villain-adjacent, maybe. If she got her shit together too much, it would break the already flimsy premise of this show.

So far they're implying they're into some vague sketchy shit. But it could be justified in some way if they wanted to.

Honestly I can't see a cartoon where they use shmup as a curse word and say things like "dance emote" as the kind of show to go "Hey, sometimes the company you're working for can be evil."

>nuance
Big Company Bad is staple for tech-driven shows

Bergy just grinds really shit jobs that no one else wants to do for XP.

Man. I just really want an actual person to be a villain.

Glitches are fun and all but they're destined to be monster of the episode fodder.

Todd Howard is the ultimate villain.

Yeah. But then they'd have to admit that the things they've been for two seasons so far might be for the benefit of an evil company.

I can't think of many cartoons with this premise. At least not one as basic as Glitch Techs.

So started "season 2" and I'm on episode 2, and I'm putting the nails in, favorite show of 2020.

The show has thus far worked with that to a reasonably satisfying effect. If it stops there, I'll be happy. Interpersonal drama starts, glitch happens, fighting it resolves said drama, characters learn and grow as people. It's not exactly high art, but they haven't fucked it up yet.

I'd be thrilled if they could pull off a crazier plot, but I'm not about to bet on it.

So who's the Kuroto Dan/Genm of the show right now?

Idk that inspector chick seems like she in on something and then Phil had been memory wiped by the company

>Evil company man wants to sell glitchy cheap games o the masses causing an mass terror.

>He uses his broken shit games to defend himself.

>He has his own gauntlet that glows in the fucking dark.

If it keeps going. I hope they try to shake things up.

We're on season 2 an there's two episodes about people not telling a thing and confessing afterwards but it's okay cause they're friends.

But again, this show probably wasn't made for binge and I wasn't supposed to notice that.

Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters had a quirky, young "fun" millionaire that sponsors and mentors the heroes for much of season one. They drop small red flags like his gentrification of the city, his acquired control of the police, his private imprisonment of villains, and greater access to people's privacy that the heroes don't question until near the end, when he ends up getting revealed as true Big Bad.

I think ATOM from the 2000s also ran on that premise.

That lady didn't say there were no glitches that could imitate humans, and they also didn't say Miko isn't a glitch

Hinobi has access to reality warping technology. They kinda have a right to take over the world if they want, they're clearly the best bet for humanities continued existence.
Besides, if you want to get /cyb/ about it then Ridley can just fuck Hinobi into the ground and lead a modder revolution. It sounds like where season 3 is going given that:
Season 2 finally started to address the miko issue
Introduced the fact that Phil got fucked over and the company is hiding things
Introduced that modders exist and hate the straight laced techs (more or less)
Logically it's going to get punk eventually. Whether it's against the current domineering company or after they have miko restore polybius I don't know.

>miko restore polybius
what

Really? Wow I didn't give ATOM the time of day back then. But maybe I should.

Having a modder apocalypse would be awesome.

The whole world just turning into an open world boss rush.
