Did he go too far?
Did he go too far?
He gave them a warning.
His problem is he's not BELOVED BY THE NIGHT
Didn't go far enough
Yes, all vampires are emo faggots
On the fucknuts who murdered his wife for simply wanting to help people and were super hype about it afterwards? Nah, he gave them a year to gtfo
On the whole full genocide thing? Yes. He even admits so when he realizes he is about to murder his own son over it.
I wish they didn't give a sad animu backstory, "Bleh I vant your blood!" type Dracula is always superior
>I wish they didn't give a sad animu backstory, "Bleh I vant your blood!" type Dracula is always superior
That's not even the full backstory. We skipped over the Leon Belmont stuff.
If they want to keep le poor villain :'( angle they better keep skipping it cause the LoI story just makes him into an ever bigger asshole
Every game post 3 in the timeline does that, 3's backstory is basically the only one where he isn't just being evil.
This was such a completely unnecessary add-on to the story.
No, he fucking gave everyone plenty of time to get the fuck out of Walachia.
WIll netflix try to adapt it and how will they fuck it up is so?
Mina gets violently raped by Graham, who is instead of a schizophrenic doomsday cultist, is now just a Robert Jeffress/Paula White standin.
I don't think the show will ever go beyond Dracula's Curse in the timeline so flahbacks to his past since they already showed Leon would be more of a possibility
>wasn't just being evil
Eh, I always felt that the point of Curse of Darkness was exactly that Dracula was just being an evil petty asshole during the events of 3 and using Lisa's death as an excuse, but I guess that's a game that comes afterwards in timeline
They make Soma an emo bi boy and ignore the novel, also they don’t add Chaos
>female character
>getting raped
Only male rape allowed here m8 this is fujo territory
No you might have a point there, Symphony also points to him not really caring about humans outside of Lisa.
Lisa's death just pushed him over an edge he was already capable of, after that point he's just a hollow monster he says so himself. By the time of Dracula X he has fully lost anything that he gained during his time with her.
>I don't think the show will ever go beyond Dracula's Curse in the timeline
I think the problem is 3 is one of the few in the series with an actual cast of characters you play as. Would be hard to write a show about 1 which is just Simon whipping his way through the castle and then getting cursed followed up by a countryside tour to fix that.
Maybe I'm just too harsh to judge Dracula but I feel like had it not been Lisa's wrongful execution he would've eventually found another thing in humanity that would've offended him enough to go full genocide, this one instace just did the deed quick. The only solution was to be born again as a normal japanese boy
A short, action focused miniseries a la Primal could work for Simon. Would need a completely different creative team though
Probably, would have been after he death though in any case, she kept him stable. And unfortunately for him his son is also not insane.
He didn't go far enough.
Hopefully the Warren Ellis fallout will result in its cancellation before it ever leaves the CVIII/CoD era.
Did he go far enough with what? He didn't do anything other than stroke his fucking dick and job out of his fucking mind. News flash, his plan not only failed, but he was betrayed, beaten, and he got the vampire council of the world killed.
I cannot imagine a plan going further south that fast except deciding to invade russia in the winter
On those who Murdered his Wife? No
On going with full scale Genocide? Without Question
Should've wiped out every church and clergy member on the planet.
Religion is a blight.
So is communism.
>WIll netflix try to adapt it and how will they fuck it up is so?
The story of Soma already fuck it up so there wouldn't much problem.
Or make it about Simon Quest with short action filled flashbacks about his adventures in Castlevania 1.
Good thing the USSR collapsed 30 years ago.
Too bad China'a got Communism 2.0
