In QC, saying you're straight is thought crime and all the girls will narrow their eyes at you and sass you until you leave. After they win the confrontation there's a panel of them against an all white background where everyone else who witnessed it hugs them

has a man ever lost his zest for life as badly as jeph? this is a man who lucked into being an early internet webcomic artist showing gradual improvement while maintaining a regular update schedule. meaning, lots of page views and big bucks in ad revenue. he parleyed this into quitting his real job and doing it full time. he had side projects, released music, and, then, patreon happened. getting paid even more to make his comic killed all his interest in doing it. he said he'd use the extra money to make a "dream project", which became the wet fart alice grove. when he gave up on it, and the patreon money didn't dry up, he doubled down, not releasing music anymore either. still, patreon kept going up. the only thing he fears is losing his base of sjws, so he infuses the comic with nothing but identity politics. can you remember the last comic that was just silly fun without it being about AIs or trannies or sexuality? I can't. THIS is what the comic used to be, and is what it has been for the past 11+ years. I wonder if he realizes what he's become, but doesn't care because of all the cash, or if he genuinely believes the nonsense he supports for money now. either way, it's rather sad.
