Owl House isn't actually liked by Zig Forums though. Zig Forums went through a love, then hate, then love/hate relationship with SU. Most of the people talking about Owl House are just shitting on it, with only a handful of people really talking about it in a positive light, and it's not even done with its first season.

The problem is, OP, that you probably aren't seeing all the posts. If you are just viewing [s4s] through the /s4s/ board, you don't see the green posts, the posts with letters in their ids, or anything numberless. Together, those make up about 40-70 percent of [s4s], depending on the day. So conversation will appear disjointed and spastic, because you won't be getting the full picture.
I actually just flipped over to the /s4s/ interface to make this post, and it's pretty funny how unintelligible [s4s] is like this.

Interesting, I'm not OP and also never been on /s4s/, but if it's possible for that layout number to exist in some form then I'll change my mind.

Pre-2010s, the way most people watched cartoons was by just catching them on tv, so it was beneficial for as many episodes to stand on their own as possible.
Now, in the era of streaming and binge watching, lore and continuity is basically a requirement for any show to gain traction.
