Source is dubious and a lot of it sounds like outrage-mining, but here they are anyway.
>Homelander raped Butcher’s wife and was brainwashed by Vought into believing it was consensual. He genuinely cares about his son and wants him to have a happy childhood. Vought forced Butcher’s wife to maintain Homelander’s illusion and have his child so they could study him.
>Black Noir is not a clone of Homelander, but his powers derive from Homelander’s DNA. The Boys do briefly believe him to be a clone and the one who raped Butcher’s wife.
>Starlight bonds with Maeve while spying on the Seven and convinces her to leave the team and expose their crimes. A-Train is forced to sponsor a charity foundation to improve his public image, actually begins to enjoy it, and reforms.
>Stormfront is a white supremacist indoctrinated into neo-Nazi ideology from a young age. Her plan is to create a superhuman supremacist movement, but she begins to question her beliefs after becoming involved with A-Train and his foundation.
>The Deep attempts to help the Boys to take down the Seven after they refuse to let him rejoin the team, but the Boys reject him after they learn what he did to Starlight. Deep incels out, calls Starlight a whore who led him on and ruined his life, and tries to kill her, so Hughie stabs him though the head with a dead swordfish.
>Butcher uses a serum to depower Homelander’s son, slash his throat and lie to his wife that Vought killed him because Homelander was secretly training him. Without her son, whom she genuinely loved, Butcher’s wife exposes Homelander’s rape, which coupled with Maeve’s accusations, disgraces Homelander and Vought.
>The Boys figure out what Butcher did and split, with some refusing to accept the murder of an innocent child. Homelander goes insane and ends the season plotting revenge against both Vought and the Boys.
