Tons of high-school/college underdog stories where the hero is a self indulgent outcast who wants to get laid, and instead of becoming a better person or figuring out what they are doing wrong, the story is written to the girl finds out he was a great guy all along.

the problem with this idea though is that in order to get a girl you have to be a chad. The only reason the underdog hero cant get the girl is because he lost the genetic lottery.

Don't forget how he has to get the popular girl, rather than a girl he has anything in common with.

The problem is deeper than this. As most cartoons are for children most MCs are children so they wouldn't count. You could even say teens don't count since they haven't finished puberty or young adults since they're only starting their relationships.

So you need a cartoon where the MC is over 25 and an incel. Very few are going to be made so it's no surprise they're so rare.
