Do folks in the industry really believe girls don't like stuff like pretty princesses falling in love with handsome princes anymore?
Do folks in the industry really believe girls don't like stuff like pretty princesses falling in love with handsome...
I know I do
It make them useless or submissive.
but women are useless and submissive
No, it makes them happy.
They do but just with extra steps so they don’t look like ‘other girls’ or perpetuate an ideal they think is outdated.
The extra steps are just making them lesbians
Same unrealistic fantasies.
Cringe
Somebody must always be the sub in any relationship.
Femanons would be happier at home with the kids than on the job with no one else to go home to other than their cats.
Femanon currently in latter situation can confirm. I wish I had joint income
Folks in the industry believe that no matter how well written or feminist a story where a pretty princess falls in love with a prince is, some mouthy think piece will immediately complain and equate them to the most regressive of gender politics.
Writing post ironic wisecracking action princesses is easier and gets fewer complaints.
I’m sick of characters like moana I don’t give a shit about female empowerment and I say that as a female
Princesses are outdated and lame.
Cringe and incel-pilled.
Yes.
Writing a woman wielding power and competence in a feminine way within a traditional feminine framework is way too difficult for the hack writers that Disney hires.
Wow sweaty, that's a yikes from me. Ya'll folks need to get woke like me and the queens on Twitter. :)
Yes. That's why we need more propaganda to convince them that they're actually lesbians. We need to keep the birthrates in first world countries down and import more shitskins.
What type of relationships do you know of where both parties are always in the assertive role?
Why do girls get so hostile when someone suggests making lifestyle choices that actually are proven to lead to happiness and fulfillment?
Eh, I think they did fine with Tangled and Frozen 1 and girls ate that shit. Does Ladybug count as a Disney show? It airs in the Disney Channel in my country, and girls love her and the catboy
Rapunzel nailed it though
So, where they should be?
We're talking about cartoons and kids stories though, which are intended to be escapism and idealistic.
Cats & career > full time daycare that doesnt pay
Social justice is not about justice .
Just revenge .
If the blue hair activist cant have a beautiful prince , so , no other girl can .
>proven to lead to happiness
Its actually the opposite for women.
Gonna need a citation because you're full of shit.
It really really isn’t
Ah yes that’s why procreation has been so successful for so long, because it makes half the human race very unhappy. Do you think before you post?
Holy cope
Don't call me out like this. Unfortunately this is impossible in today's climate, you gotta have two incomes to stay afloat when raising a family, when to be honest I'd rather take care of the home, engross myself with my hobbies and see my kids grow up and be a big part of their life.
I remember loving show who had pretty girls with sparkly dresses and unique designs, that's why anime, was really appealing to me as a kid over the ugly/boring american cartoons. But I'd probably love show like monster high and show with similar aesthetics (pretty girls with unique accessories) if these shows aired during my childhood.
Sailor Moon was shit. Sakura was better.
