so I just got done watching this interview of the Animaniacs cast which was filmed almost a year ago. They talk about the new show which is nice and they also tell some cool stories. The thing that I found interesting was what Tress MacNeille says about the look of the show towards the end. She details how the characters are designed and the overall aesthetic of the show being different based on some art she has seen while recording? She easily could have just seen some doodles that the artists made. We already know the show will look more like the original based on promotional images and one screenshot we got of the actual show. In fact I think I know exactly what she's referring to. Here's the timestamped video. I also recommend watching the whole thing because it is pretty fun.
Here's an example of what i think Tress got confused with. I think she believe the characters will look like pic related but it was just a doodle by one of the artists looking on the show and I believe the actual show will look much different.
That makes sense Should note there's an Animaniacs panel this weekend so we might see stuff

Slappy's VA was also a writer on the show and she was pissed off that she and the other writers were snubbed. Rita's VA stopped being within their budget range after the first season.
God damn. I don't think I've heard Tress' natural speaking voice in decades. I was expecting Mom/World's Oldest Woman tier sound by now but she sounds like Charlotte Pickles. That's cool. Dot's gonna be hell though. She gets loud as fuck for that voice.
