The Roadrunner segment was genuinely exciting, but the rest was too loud, too obnoxious, and trying much too hard to get a laugh.
The Looney Tunes Show may be far removed from the original Looney Tunes, but at least it was funny.

While I did enjoy The Looney Tunes Show, I gotta say they personally wish they would have given the original character designs more of a chance before basically throw them out by S2
People were too judgamental. These designs really capture the essence of the characters despite being rounder and modrnized them without the need of dating them.
But nah man, Bugs Bunny isn't fully grey and lankey, we gotta just make it the same usual design as always.

The dry roommate banter with almost no music was worth a shot. This pilot doesn't present anything new to execs besides "heres all the looney tunes characters in an ensemble. again" so I'm not surprised they went back to the drawing board. It's cool to see Jessica Borutski's style full display here though.

They redesigned Petunia when she finally DID appear on the show, though, and her redesign looked terrible. Better she not have appeared more if she was going to look like what they changed her into. Her original unused design was great, though.
Well that explains why the bumpers and promos would show a bunch of random paint splashes everywhere.

I've never gotten a clear answer as to why we haven't gotten any of the new shorts since May, I'm guessing the fudd controversy made WB nervous about his overall future and are redoing all of those short segments with his gun again
