>Luchador wearing a suit
Looks great

Cartoon Network latin america is based. That said, probably not. 1 or 2 short seasons is standard these days since the "52 episode rule" is no longer needed. Episodes just get put on apps rather than rerun on television so only as many episodes that can fit on the app storage are made until they can upgrade.

When a crossover?

this was a great show for kids

>that luchadora
Uff mamacita

>Do cartoons like this one still have any chance in this day and age?
sure. just expect them to be flat out ignored because people enjoy eating shit

The designs look cool, hope the animation is on par.

I noticed the Mexican cartoons they announced don’t have kids or teens as main characters, is a nice change.

Rey’s not that popular to carry this beyond a pilot...
Also it’s hilarious his tattoos were turned to scars...

Aside from that an actual Luchador show in this style would totally work.

He cute

I think it has a shot at being talked about for a bit in Mexico, but not internationally. Villainous was probably the only project to get some clout because it purposefully went for a premise that was universal, rather than something exclusively mexican.

lucha is decently fun toons, also there's a big mexican demographic in the us so probably high + mysterio was based in the old 64 games

On March 20, 2015, Mysterio partnered with Extreme Tiger in a match against the tag team of Perro Aguayo Jr. and Manik.[252] Mysterio scored the winning pin on Manik while all involved were unaware that Aguayo was dead (rather than just knocked out) following a dropkick to Aguayo by Mysterio to the middle rope.[253] Mysterio then attempted the 619 on Aguayo and Manik, but did not connect.[254] Aguayo was rushed to a hospital and doctors attempted to revive him, officially pronouncing him dead at 1:00 AM on March 21.[255]

I remember this fight

ooh i love sharp/edgy designs

yeah, they are super cool and a refreshing sight. everything is too soft in the newer cartoon releases

>Rey's not that popular
Is this a joke? Rey Mysterio Jr. isn't popular enough to take a Latin American cartoon beyond a pilot?
