The show should’ve been focus more on bob with Linda and the kids being side characters. Tina should’ve been scraped because she’s is a one off joke of being a Boeing as white bread teen who’s into guy’s butts, that’s works better as a gag character vs a main one.
Gene should’ve been a foil to Bob like how bob was with his dad. Like gene now not a fart loving retard but a aspiring chef (aged up to like 20something) kinda of a loosing getting act together sorta deal and wants to open whatever the opposite of burgers are shop (tacos, vegan, or something). Louis works but should’ve been toned down slightly and had a different voice actor because she sound less like a kid and more like a 30 year old women. Tina (if they wanted to keep her) could keep the same one joke premise but be a rare recurring gag/side character that’s either in Louis friend circle or a creepy at nu-Gene’s school/gym/coffee shop/ arcade/ whatever

I've been rewatching episodes on Hulu and saw "Brunchsquatch" for the first time since it premiered years back. While there was a handful of cool and appealing art styles throughout, why did most of them look so fucking ugly? Like crappy mimics of the show's regular style? I've seen the fan art that's piled up over the years, so I KNOW there are talented artists who love the show. What gives? Was it only kids who submitted their art or something?

Ehh divorce is never good in shows especially cartoons because I’m reality divorced people hate/ignore each other unless they have kids and then they just place nice in front of them for the 10min it takes to drop them off. Sure they are “divorce friends” but it’s rare. And in comedies where the nuances aren’t explored then you just end up with two divorced friends that are so close they might as well be married, and it’ll lead to several will they/won’t episodes and cheap emotional stingers. Linda and bob balance each other out with a show about a mild manner straight man middle class guy running a family burger joint with his eccentric wife, daughter with a attitude, and butting heads occasionally with his vegan (or whatever) son. Tina k don’t care about at all
