Captain Underpants

Why does no one ever talk about this movie? I think it’s pretty great.

Same situation as the Peanuts movie I think, good but nothing especially interesting to talk about

It’s a fantastic movie, but I’m pretty disappointed in the Netflix series.

It came out about 15 years too late.

I don't like how minimal it feels in terms of dimension. The Perilous Plot was grander. But it's pretty flawless as an adaptation.

because no one here is 5 years old fuck off autismo

The cartoon is also really good
Although the latest season was kinda meh

Yeah, the series was a bit of a downgrade from both the original books and the film itself

I like it a lot. It feels like the kind of cartoon that would've come out when the show was at it's peak, like on WB Kids or PBS.

it was 10 yeras too late.

Peanuts movie did it better

I don't care what anyone else says, having Snoopy's red baron adventures be a parallel to Charlie Brown's misadventures was good thinking

Blue Sky peaked with that film. Too bad they went back to being disposable afterwards

It starts out fine, but gets stale halfway through. It's one joke movie, which is never a good thing. No substance whatsoever

>kids voiced by adults
>poop humor
this movie was disgusting.

>12 different magazines
>Legible text in the background
>Mary J. Blige
SO. MUCH. SOUL

The best person on Zig Forums has finally arrived

Oscar and Sykes being cool with each other after the whole 5G's thing was great. I like to see Sykes as a father figure to Oscar, since the latter's dad passed away by the time the film takes place

They nailed Lenny's character animation and design. The film is a mixed bag when it comes to designs and aesthetics, but they did get some things right.

Ken Duncan is such a great character animator. He knows how to animate expressive female characters. Jane from Tarzan had the best expressions in that film, and so does Angie in ST. Even John K praised him in his blog once

You are a godsend. They should make a Shark Take board.

First logo joke in a CG film, and it's a pretty neat one. Wish we saw more of the fishing boy tho. Imagine if they showed him reeling the line once the worm is underwater. Would've been kino

Love how stretchy the worm's animation is. Look at his "neck"

Clever scene transitions are always important in an animated film, and this one has plenty of them

it was pretty comfy

Underrated moment

Shame that Frankie dies so early on. He was great ( design, character animation and Michael Imperioli's voice acting were on point )

Oh look, a Dreamworks thread. Sharktale faggot will be sure to ruin it. Oh look, he already has.

>Inplying Shark Tale isn't a much better film with more adult appeal, better morals and characters, plus a bigger influence on the medium
